Again, it shows LL has some real mental midgets in regards to whom composes the SL 'community.' And even when they do know they (most low-level Lindens) seem to treat the most significant members of the community like trash or as someone unimportant. The only real thing that has kept SL growing is the community through word of mouth, much like the first months of WoW and the early years of MMOs. Now, if LL has any brains in the right places, they would definitely be wise as to game that viral marketing to their advantage rather than just alienating the holy hell out of everyone and their grams that's a user of SL.

I've worked in customer service and trust me, angry clients usually get a lot more latitude before getting hung up on.

Besides this went beyond hanging up.

This is like being rude (perhaps unreasonably) to a bank clerk and then discovering your account frozen for three days.

I don't work for Linden Labs, and I can assure you that I am incredibly professional when it comes to this project I'm involved in. And they are very happy with me and my work.

After what Linden Labs just did to me, dropping an F bomb was the least of many ways I could have reacted. I wouldn't call the way they handled this situation very professional.

People in concierge service DO get paid to be sworn at.

I used to work in a place where concierge service was not only expected, it was required. If a member of my team had done something like this over such a silly thing, I would have been very angry. As professionals WE should act like professionals. The customer isn't required too.

Sarah Nerd was absolutely nowhere near as unprofessional in this one, super justified instance as LL are themselves every fucking day, especially this rotten new bullshit concerning just outright fucking over most of the landowners on January 1st for what amounts to legitimate reason whatsoever.
