My Mood: | Hey everyone. I don't usually post much or anything, but I did have a super-mega-important question. How would I go about saving the terrain from a sim where I have Estate Manager privileges at? I need to move my business which is very dependant on the terrain in my sim. The person who terraformed said sim has left SL, and I have absolutely no method of doing so myself. So... any help would be greatly appreciated! Edit: Found the method, but can only the estate owner download the RAW file? |

The estate owner has to do it and send you the file by email and then you can send the file to the new estate owner who can upload the file again. You also will need the terrain textures if the standard SL terrain textures aren't used.

| This brings up a question I've been wondering about lately. It seems like the abilities of the estate managers are so limited. I own 8 sims, and I'm always having to go take care of things only I can do. How, then, is it possible for people like Anshe Chung to handle hundreds of sims? Is there some feature I'm missing to give others more powers? |

My Mood: | It's theoretically possible to write a LSL script that reads land heights and exports them to a website that builds the raw file -- the functions are in lsl -- but the raw would probably be more accurate. |
