I just took a 2 month vacation from SL, so I'm a bit more excited to log on, but yeah, SL looks very unappetizing sometimes. I'm really staying for a few people I like very much, TBH.

don't get lazy with your business and things, but it could be fun to get an alt, and explore sl like you were a noob. that can help things when you get that not so fresh feeling from sl.

Yeah - school every week - canceled this week with only three kids - 1 primer and 2 advanced. I had 5 last week, but all advanced, so that worked pretty well.
And then the big "Meet the new teacher potluck". That was fun. Good discussions about discipline - and then one about religion between the resident freethinker and the Unitarian.

That is a lot of what I am doing - exploring jazz clubs mostly so far. And I had never done live music, so have done some of that with Mereille.
Trying to find more things to do as a couple besides music events with you guys - much as we love you all.

I think I'm going to spend what little free time I have over the next 10 days learning the basics of the various 3D programs to make sculpties having run into a brick wall attempting to make a very advanced body shape for a Steampunk style vehicle for a friend using my Sculpt Studio in-world.

I used to be "not too shabby" with 3DS Max a few years ago. Who knows. If I can get the results I like it may open up a new building opportunity for me in SL and I'll get the spark back.

I'm also noodling with some changes to the pontoon party boat I posted here on SL a while back now that I have somebody doing the script work for it.
