I'm just under the impression that since its an 'adult' game, you shouldn't have to make concessions for SL children and babies. I was at a mature club tonight and a child avie was there acting pissy cuz people were talking about screwing or something in open chat. Sure you can mute, but its a mature sim, why should I have to? Thats just me though.

You can apply that to anyone acting like an asshat though - not just SL children. Why should you have to put up with any of it? You shouldn't but you do unless you use mute or go to another location, you don't have much option.

I usually just leave when I've had enough. The talking pregnancies bellies....gah. I was in a club where no less than 5 chicks were wearing them. Needless to say I was busy muting for a few minutes!

Its one of those situations where nobody is in the wrong for wanting to experience SL in their own way but it conflicts with others wanting to experience it their way too.
It comes down to tolerance in the end, if you don't have the patience for it then move on as the problem is on your own end. I am no different, I can be as intolerant as the next person but ultimately the problem is mine.

The belly's whilst they can be highly annoying are not even in the same category of spamminess as most club gestures and are unlikely to attract LL action on them. People using them are entitled to go where they wish as long as the location is open to the general populace and so the only real recourse if you do not like it is to move on or mute.

I do understand that they can be really annoying though.

I like the concept in another online game I used to play, Tale in the Desert, where you could get married but there was no divorce. You would have to start a new character. Not quite the same as having a baby but it has it's similarities.

Stepping into seriously serious mode for a moment here, assuming that the child avie is really an adult in RL, doesnt this scenario appear to be fringe material for the paedo issue that LL got so uptight about (blokes without shirts on, limits on photo images etc). IE whilst some of us are annoyed at that behaviour in adult clubs etc, a predatory fraternity may consider this to be a way to get their fix. Or am I just emitting silly smoke from my bum as normal. Not wishing to sidetrack the general line of the thread.

Switches off serious mode and returns default to forum fun mode ...

LOL Would have been really fun - for a while. But this was a real "mafia family". If I had done that, I would never have had a calm moment in SL

LOL. I have no idea what kind of RL deliveries you've been too. Never heard about feces flying

. But about the SL ones, I wasn't invited in the delivery room. A friend of mine made a movie about an SL delivery though. The poor fat prim baby was born through the mother's ass LOL

Are you planning to knock someone up, since you're making this thorough research? LOL

The fat prim babies of the couples I used to know was transfer. I know that the mother and father sent the ugly thing between them.
