There should be a Ctrl+Left Click option to freeze/eject/ban multiple avatars for just such an occasion.

I can see from these photos that you have a healthy sense of fantasy and adventure and are not afraid to express yourself, whether it's your smoldering sensuality or your more playful side shining through. You are the type of woman who we men are delighted to spend time with, and secretly hope to be able to take it further. Based on these photos, I am giving you a 7.3 on the Trout Recreawhoosits Slut Rating Contraption. You are just shy of being a complete slut, but you clearly have one hiding within. So, congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut, but only in the best possible definition of the word.

There are a few NCI folks here, we'll be sure to argue over some wonderful topic at some point, guaranteed!

As the new schoolmarm in the Deadwood sim, I am also a member of the Group "Children of Deadwood."
The folks over there are serious about their RP. I look forward to RP'ing with them.

I would like to take a moment here to sing the praises of good child rp'ers.
I had the most enjoyable experience last night of doing close to a two hour rp with one of the "Children of Deadwood".
OMG - he was fantastic. Mereille was in on part of it, and commented later that "He should give lessons". He acted like a real 7 year old - almost 8.
Wow.

There really are some good child RPers out there.

But this 'little boy' absolutely floored me. If there were such a thing as Oscars in SL, he deserves three.

On the Deadwood boards, someone else posted a log of their scene. He was flawless, from speech pattern, to the way he approached whatever topic, even to the little things he put in emotes.

So not every child avi is a four foot tall baby-talker with a binkie in their mouth.

It's just the people forcing their RP on everyone and ruining others experiences.

When a popular store like ETD is made unshoppable for a prolonged period of time, that is unacceptable.

That also goes for people whipping their slave girl in the middle of a store while she shrieks (seen it), or riding your fooking horse up the side of a monument at Tulum, shoving people who are trying to enjoy the incredible build out of your way (happened today).

I understand this ain't reality, but seriously, a little consideration of others and common sense wouldn't do any harm, would it, when roleplaying in areas not particularly suited to it?

If common sense were truly common - everybody would have it.

True, true. You'd think it would stop suprising me how little sense people have, seriously, I wonder how they survive long enough to learn to use a computer sometimes.

I've tried substituting mindfulness of how my actions affect others with mixed results. This substitute for common sense will not, as I can attest, reduce the number of times you hurt yourself during do-it-yourself projects.

Then I would say AR the person. Even though they are acting as a child in SL, they are still an adult and responsible for their behavior. SL children showing bad behavior should still be done within the boundaries of an acceptable area and with people who are fine with that behavior.
SL children who do not respect the ability of others to live their SL are breaking the TOS or CS (I forget which one) should expect to be treated in the same way as adult avs who do the same.
