Usually when SL is offline, one can still reach the official forums. I can't seem to get in to either - anyone know what's going on?

i'm logged into SL now.. and can also currently access the forums..
Not that my sayin' that helps anything...

but maybe it's not a problem with SL completely?

Edit: Although on the main forum, someone just started a topic titled "Login Failed"

Kelli May: Yup, just tried, just failed. Status says grid offline, even though the log-in page still says online and 41K plus logged in.

Saku Koltai: yes ..look like broken again ... I was able to log in (with difficulties), of course home location unavailable, tp not working, inventory looks like broken and so on ... So i log off and will have a nice RL day ...

Talon DeCuir: I am logged in - but can't buy anything or tp.

Danielle Eber: Support is also broken - Unable to reach the ticket/live chat pages

I had no trouble accessing the official forums but I can't get in world just now - "Login Failed".

Everything is borked...

SL has forgotten my homelocation.. i had to tp back to clearwing in stages.

Siggy just IMed me, with several thousand linden in his balance, its telling him he cant afford a texture upload.

I'm hearing similar reports from all over.

Residents may be unable to connect to Second Life as the result of a database related issue. Features inworld may also not be working. This is being looked into and we will keep you posted.
