That's not entirely fair. The OP disappeared, so we haven't been able to play with our food as we usually do. And Maxx started a competing thread on the same topic, which diluted the interest.

I love to play Texas Holdem and feel the same way. I never played to win money. I played to hang with people and play a fun game. If I had to play with meaningless point, it would all be the same to me.

See, you don't need cards or roulette wheels to gamble. You can hang out in sex clubs and bet on whether that ruthie-looking dork is going to hit on you. Or whether he'll be able to spell.

As long as you were just playing for point value, to see who won, and there was no actual cashout - I don't see why not.

I think we're missing the really important question here

Is there a way to invest heavily in some sort of .. I don't know .. player-run BANK I guess, to take advantage of this in some way that in no way resembles a pyramid scheme??

If LL is segregating Adult content to specific regions, I sure hope that they segregate gambling clubs to their own regions. I'd much rather have beautiful naked avatars having fun next door to me than an ugly gambling club.
