Since the Radio station employees can already meet bands.

I'm probably just a little to emotional tonight. I'm driving to Cleveland tomorrow to pick up my tickets for my promotions, then I'll suck up this emo mood that I'm in and move forward. I'll email the webmaster (who's also one of the 5 judges) tomorrow and asked why our videos and myspace wasn't linked, or else resubmit it with my new stuff Sunday night. Thanks guys, sorry for the emo fit. I'm just really worked up about this.

You're putting a lot into this, I think you have a right to be verklempt over it. We are all feeling it, we're in this with you. Hell it took me 2 hours to take those pictures up there, I'm not a great SL photographer, and these two fucking Brazilians on scooters kept bothering me.....

I could get some friends together and we could lay siege to the K Rock station in New York, maybe toss a few Molotovs....If you think that would help....

Sarah, I saw some possible flaws in your presentation. I know that the organizers weren't showing all that you have done. But maybe you could somehow compile all of the people's avatar names in SL or at least get a raw number...and use that in a large group pic.

Another thought...and maybe theres no time for this idea, but It might be good if you could show where each avatar was from ...from a "world " perspective.
Name the countries around the world that you are able to reach with your promotion. I just think that having SL as a platform to promote your cause is awe-inspiring if done from the right angle.
(a group photo with signs for each country represented and the avatars standing there...a giant NIN sign behind everyone)
...yeah...almost impossible to pull off...but I'm just throwing out ideas for you

yes it does suck badly BUT we got their arses totally kicked. Seems like those tools at the radio station have no idea about SL, so time to give them a lesson I think. Lots of good suggestions here. I think you just need to get the power of what you're doing, and the sheer numbers across to the judges!

I think some people need these things spelt out to them. They may not understand the scope of SL. They might not understand that all those pics are representative of real, distinct people, all round the world. I'm wondering if you could get some people together in SL and get the radio station to play NIN and video the avs dancing to the streamed music, and emphasise what a broad audience they're reaching. Maybe have the avs wearing something that indicates where in the world they are. Do they do internet radio? Are they interested in marketing to the wider world? Because that's what it is for them, a great big marketing opportunity.

Definitely get in touch with them about the links pages. (They did break Bain's though).

And finally, I'm sure your sister and family are trying to play down your chances so you aren't too disappointed if it doesn't go your way, but I don't think Bain has your obvious passion, which will count for a lot.
