Don't you feel all social now though?

I can see where some will have a problem with their av being automatically controlled by others. I mean, what if I don't want to hug Derdunkelhoffenschniff?

You can have "music" but it's limited to 512k files.
Thanks Beezle.

I figured that was the only "music" support right now.

So, this is pretty much useless to me at this time but I'll still keep my eye on it as it develops.

I'm seeing rooms that don't look like any combination in the catalog? Is it just me?

nvm - Looks like more things have been added since I checked last.

I signed on and first chose one of the default men avatars, now I logged in again, in Cris' room and I turned into a pig with a straw hat. Yeay....

This is interesting, and im impressed with the smooth moving of the cam, but the interfaces are a little confusing.

Do We have a room for SLU yet? I'm on as Wulf@SLU unless i change it again.

I tried Lively. Was in Cris' room. Stuck in a dinosaur. Couldn't see the keys as had to be in IE and IE is like using a 1 inch screen with the browser sized for a 1/2 inch screen. As in I can't see anything. And the buttons were so tiny I couldn't read the words next to them.

Wife and I are messing around in there now.

If I were a corporate exec I would choose this before SL for meetings, etc virtually.

Free room.. free furniture for looks, free clothes, etc. No Island fees.. cost to have someone design the island.. etc.

SL is way more clunky then this is for those type apps. It took me about 15 mins to figure everything I needed to know out. Just gotta get used to cam angles and movement.

moving about is indeed very tricky.

However, i do have very cute ear animations

Here's me in Cristiano's room, which i have now visited several times, but I was all on my ownio every time

Actually, the search is very annoying, e.g. "Cristiano" as a search term doesn't bring up Cris' room, you need to put in "Cristiano's".

If you click on yourself, you get an arrow X, just drag it. Or, you can right click on objects and choose "move to".

I had been moving around by using "move to". I logged into Sarah's room in the middle of the ocean and unable to see myself. Luckily I spotted the "bird's eye view" and saw a chair hanging in the sky. I clicked on it and saw "move to", so I moved to it. Then I proceeded to move all over the room by "move to"ing stuff. I tried many times to move by clicking and moving but it just would not work for some reason. I even tried again after I saw your message. Then I moved to the pier and clicked and tried to move . . . and was able to move. Interesting. Now I see what the walk looks like.

Its Google wanking off because no one wants to make another SL because of all the inherent issues involved. (except the Chinese)

"By Wednesday afternoon, however, the service appeared to be a bit more 'lively' than Google had anticipated. Two of the five most occupied 'rooms' on the service solicited 'sex' in their titles and descriptions.

One room boasted as many as 3,724 occupants. Other rooms could be found advertising such themes as 'cyber sex' and 'hot college girls'.

Was invited to a Lively group on Flickr, so that means . . . something something.

Flickr: Google Lively Scenes

35 members, 97 pictures.

I took 34 pictures myself, though only five of those are in the Lively Flickr group.

LOL anyone still think LL is not concerned a little about Livley?

These articles are not track backs.. LL puts them in the Headline section themselves.
