If the yahoo webcam can let unknown random remote connections access to it, and it transmits on a quick time compatible format (though less with SL), and the streaming computer can handle the possibility of dozens of connections: YES.

S'ok, in time you'll see that is a rare occurrence. It normally only happens when I need to get more coffee. Low signal to noise ratio, never fear.

I did some research. There are several applications that can tune into the webcam stream. This means there's a certain logic to the address of the webcam stream. So yes theoretically we can use Yaho webcams to stream video to our parcels.... the quesiton is what's the url....

Apparently, yahoo left this little hole, and made webcams unencrypted on purpose so thatthey may be displayed on geocities webpages. I think that's functionality is way gone now. But the interesting bit is, once you have the hacker apps, you can not only watch the streams you have permission to but you can watch just about anyone's cam without permission....

messed up huh?
