Yeah, I used the hostel as a place to a) crash, and b) shower.

What are the rates again?

So it just may be that the organizing committee is gearing up their communications for end of July. I'm hoping we are going to see something soon.
I agree with Flipper. Definitely call the organizers. I have a feeling that Nexeus is just overwhelmed right now with actually organizing the event and hasn't had time to update the web site. Honestly, this is a thankless job and my heart goes out to all of the organizers and volunteers who are working so hard to make this year special.

$189 for a quad, so about 50 bucks a night.

My hostel in Chi-town was 30-something, and I shared a room with jet-lagged Japanese who were always up when I was drunk and trying to sleep.

And those beds sucked.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Well hostels usually suck. I stayed at one that was 20 a night when I first moved to NYC that didn't even have a locking door or bathroom. The room was a cubby with a twin mattress on the floor. And if you talked, even at a whisper, the other cubbies began hissing at you.

Considering 1) I'm poor, 2) I don't usually use most hotel amenities, 3) the wifi was free, 4) I was barely there, the ones in San Fran and Chicago weren't bad at all.
