Hey man! Crocs are awesome!!! I've been wearing these babys this summer, after a winter of wearing the mammoth crocs. Non croc wearers just aren't as cool as us.

I love the crocs too. I have the black mary janes and the purple ones. Not like those of Sarah's but the other ones with the holes in them. I always think people who don't love them, have never worn them.

Guys in Crocs tend to look, somehow, just like guys in sandals and white socks do.

SLCC08

I dunno --- I'm rather disappointed myself. Rockcliffe is sponsoring the education track this year as I thought last year (the concrete bunker not withstanding) showed real potential. We've had our deposit in since March-April and there isn't one whiff of who has sponsored, tracks, or schedules, or speakers, nada.

The official SLConvention.org web site hasn't even been updated since mid-june with the single post only talking about the hotel rooms put aside for SLCC participants is currently 60% full.

Last year if I remember correctly, it wasn't until late July / early August when the flood of registrations started coming in. So it just may be that the organizing committee is gearing up their communications for end of July. I'm hoping we are going to see something soon.

It just seems to me that by this point last year we had a lot more information, and there were a lot more people registered. I know there are quite a few people that plan to be there, but aren't going though the expense and hassle of registering because they are not interested in the tracks. But honestly, we know very little about the tracks or any of the events planned for SLCC.

Am I missing something? Is there another place for information than the official site?

Am I the only one that didn't get drurnk? x.x

I remember going to a bar with some people, but I just sat in the corner and had a soda. >.> *sneeky sneeky*

hmmm... Adam was there for that one, IIRC. Oh, hmm, that was the night with the Machinima track, where I took the sweaty armpits photo.

I'd recommend contacting the organizers directly. Trust me, it is a lot of work.

You know, the hotel rates aren't THAT bad.

If I quadrupled up with some non-orgy people, it'd be like sleeping in a hostel.

Emphasis on non-orgy; I have a fiancee', I just want to drink and party, not do the dildo-bangings or whatever you all did last year.
