great pics Solanghe and looking great.

I use Photoshop CS3 and put on a small amount of gaussian blur at 0.5 which I find enough just to smooth the picture out and take the sharpness out. Sometimes I adjust the brightness and contrast. Opticverve Labs do a great filter tool for photoshop if you have it called Virtual Photographer which allows you to add in all sorts of cool effects.

Thanks Carth. I r pour, so no photoshop. I know I can download the gimp for free but I dunno if I'm inclined to work that hard at learning it.

I have a program called IrfanView? But for the life of me I can't figure out how to do more that crop with it. It's *supposed* to be user-friendly.

I'm following your linkage to find something better. \o/

try this

in your SL prefs:

graphics/hardware options/anti-aliasing/ select x4

this will smooth out the "jaggies" you see in the outline of you av and the outlines of attachments.

The only downside is that it makes picture taking a little slower.

eta: I have waited all my SL life for anti-aliasing. :woohoo:

I only rarely photoshop or anything anymore. If I am going to do any editing it is with the basic picnic tools with flickr. Crop and maybe some soften but not usually. If I edit something heavily I add "remixed" to the title. I use AM Radio's hud and I use the windlight settings available through the SL client.
