High terrain texture detail has a measurable impact on graphics performance if you're at the low end graphics area (like me); low quality terrain and terrain texture is the default for me.

That said, there's no real loss to frame rate if you temporarily toggle the texture quality up for a photo and then back down. Not important for these sort of photos, IMO, but it adds a lot of if you end up doing a lot of landscape snapshots.

I didn't do anything to it aside from tweaking the bangs so it doesn't look like I have a fivehead.

I haven't noticed any massive alpha problems, though -- some slight, slight flicker now and then up near the tops of the pigtails but otherwise fine.

Oh, I posted these, completely off topic, in a political thread, lol. So I may as well post them here although the details are very fuzzy, I was drunk when I did all this.

I've been updating Io. I got one of the new gala skins, which work with the pale shades she wears, but not for Esma who wears a darker shade, unfortunately. I had to change my shape a bit, though.

So anyway.

Skin - Gala, Pearl, who the fuck knows starts with a P

Hair - Deviant Kitties, forgot the name, it's a new release

Outfit and hair ornament - Bare Rose, it's in the Japanese section, the back is weird though, sticks up, and I have to fix it. I guess she didn't want it trailing into the floor? But it sticks in the air, heh. Still I love it and you can't beat Bare Rose prices.

Eeep. Did you by any chance stretch out the prims? it looks like perhaps the texture repeated instead of stretching. Try decreasing the vertical repeats, maybe?

Great success! Tweaking the repeats did indeed fix the problem, as seen below.

Also, I'm wearing the TorridWear Half 'n Half top in black/gray, and the PixelDolls Amity skirt.
