O.K. one more as some of you know I use SL to create illustrations for Brokeback Mountain slash fiction, of which I am an avid follower and occasional contributor of both prose and art. On that note, here's my Jack Twist avatar, which many of you have seen before:

Just FYI, Mourna beat me to it and bought the prize I was talking about the night before. I'm not sure whether she wore it to Luc's show last night, I got sick and couldn't make it but I will wear mine to her show tonight, hehe.

It's just something that I've been wanting forever and it's finally been made perfectly and customizable and cheap so I'm a happy camper. They are around but none of them fit the bill until now.

Oh, sculpty skirts. I bought one and I like it. I will post a pic later.

Well make that two because after Mourna posted this dress I went out and bought it, but the one I bought the other day is more of a traditional skirt shape.

No I didn't, cuz I didn't want us to look like twinkies.
I bought two other things that same night that are very similar to it, so I wore one of the others.

I like the sculpty skirts from Cubic. Can't say as I've tried any from anywhere else, but they have two nice ones. They don't have the movement of a flex skirt, but they're made pretty cleverly with multiple attach points, so they do move with you when you walk or dance.

Wow you look awesome, Mourna.

Alright, it's just a hat. But it comes with hair (different shades) and it's exactly what I've wanted for ages. It's all color changable by script, hat, band and feathers and is only 200L. Gritty Kitty.

However. It looks ten times better on Max and this is very annoying.

I edited out the darn hat, lol. I really don't like having hats be attached to the hair, so I separated the two and retextured it and basically completely butchered it. There's something that Noam does that seriously bothers me, he never finishes or even gives any sort of lip service to the top of hair that he puts a hat on. Unless it's something like Tumnus where the hair really is more of a part of the hat, it just strikes me as sloppy

But actually it did make it really easy for me to fit my pirate hats on his Zombie dreads >.>

Siyu, I seriously prefer hats to have hair. I don't want to either fuck up my hair or have it stick out of the hat. What do I do?

If a hat has been made properly, it should be large enough and shaped the right way in order to make it hardly a problem unless you have a mohawk or very spiky short hair.

I just love variety and switching it up too much to settle for only one style with one hat. I really loved the twisties and sort of bohemian feel of the hair underneath the Thursday hat, but I also liked the hat and wanted to wear it with long hair, short hair, straight hair, Armidi hair, Aden hair! *pic added*

This sort of hat, in particular, never fits my head and my hair sticks out of most of the hats I buy, not yours, though. But yours are also larger than average.

I don't care, I just want to put it on my head and have it fit and look nice. This also happened to be exactly the hair style I wanted to wear with a top hat and forget trying to make that work with existing hair, unless you shrink the hat to a miniature (didn't want) or make it so big you look like the hat is wearing you.

The problem with attached hair is that the best hat-makers are not usually the best hair-makers, and vice versa. I usually prefer to put something together myself, but that's because I'm a picky little shit.

I do like the hair on the GK hat, though. I like the whole thing.

I mean, sure, I could copy a hair and rebuild it to fit a hat but between needing to edit hair, clothing and now prim silks (don't get me started) it makes me feel like, shit, I may as well make it myself if I'm going to spend this much time, already.

Anyway, I love my new hat but not that my alt looks better in it.
