My Mood: | The only reason why I think she has fought about this issue for so long is because she loves the drama. Seriously, I've seen this many times in real life, and it fits the bill perfectly. What's absurd is that when the infohub moved in, it made her property value skyrocket. Land adjacent to infohubs to hers is some of the most desirable land in SL. She could move, gently phase out by having a landmark giver on her bear plot, and finally sell the bear plot for a shitload of cash. The analogy would be if someone complained that oil seeping up for a huge fucking deposit is spoiling their garden. |

My Mood: | Well, until she goes over the deep end enough to do all out griefing. They do take griefing at infohubs rather seriously. Not that I'd have any personal experience with that. ![]() But until then, it'll be the usual LAH LAH RESIDENT DISPUTE LAH LAH LAH NOT LISTENING LAH LAH LAH. ![]() |

| Has Vanished ![]() ![]() | I figured a JIRA regarding this would pop up. I read it, and just had to shake my head. The Bear Infohub isn't THAT popluar. Late at night SL time it'll crowd up some, but I've almost never seen Bear reach capacity in the time I've been hanging out there. It's neither LL's or the Bear socialites' fault if nearby landowners don't know how to take advantage of the traffic an infohub attracts. |

Here's another posibility.... Lias is, in fact, an exceptionally brilliant buisnesswoman. By stoking a calculated 'Infohub War', she's turned the infohub denizens militant, thereby germinating a community and keeping the place perpetually busy. Which would render the below even more exquisitely effective: Quote:

| Has Vanished ![]() ![]() | If that were the case, she'd be raking in the L$ like crazy. But she hasn't. The majority of the infohub crowd is BANNED from her business. You hang out at that infohub, especially with certain people, she bans you from her property, even if you've done nothing wrong. |

By stoking a calculated 'Infohub War', she manages the feat of huge amounts of business advertising on several forums, most notably Resident Answers - where people will go to just about any lengths to advertise. The ensuing drama causes many, many people to suddenly pay attention to her business and take a closer look at her services and why they are so incompatible with proximity to an Infohub. Many of those same people stop by the Infohub to take a closer look at both the area and her business. Remove the Infohub, solve the problem. Which, history has shown, is the usual Linden answer to something being abused - they don't fix it, they just remove it.

| I BUY LAND ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
Can I play with your land?
| I went to Bear when this thread popped up, and this afternoon. Both times I had no issues getting in the sim. This time I landed in sim center and passed her place to get to the info hub. When I did I was spammed with 3 or 4 things from her, mainly landmarks. I have no sympathy. She is obviously using this location and traffic for marketing. She has no right to bitch about the traffic when she's using the traffic for advertisement. |

That needed a word. She's obviously abusing the system for advertisement, or else shes just one of those never happy drama loving folks. I'd kill for that location next to the busy infohub.

, and she's both. That isn't her land that's next to the infohub anyway, but the guy who owns it lets her use it however she wants nowadays.
