Is Chip Midnight fixated on Tenshi too? How about Humps and Johanna Crammer? Because all of us have the same concerns.

I wanted to comment so that your statement is not misunderstood by those who didn't know what happened. The situation with Torrid was vastly different and did not involve accusations of selling someone else's work, but you are right, she got in front of it and handled it well.

Torrid purchased a skin from Lost, and wanted to put her own makeup on it to have a distinctive look. She didn't ask Lost, but instead did it herself by extracting the texture and re imported the skin for her own personal use - not for sale in any way. She just wanted her own makeup on it. Lost was upset by it, and she apologized to him, he accepted and it was over with, all privately.

It was not until later, in a situation that flared up not with Torrid, but with someone else over something similar that Lost's partner threw Torrid under a bus for her own reasons and dredged up a long dead and privately settled issue and made it public with accusations that what Torrid did was somehow theft. The argument over it turned into a witchhunt with the fashion blogs, and really showed the incredibly nasty side of the community.

Someone even went so far as to post anonymously that it would have been better off if Torrid died during surgery (she was having her gall bladder removed around the time this happened). The entire time, Torrid handled herself with class, but when a mob wants blood, forget it. How she was treated at the time was horrible - definitely a low point in SL's history.

Some of us are quite capable of reading Danae's posts independently of Tenshi's, and the letter that Danae herself wrote.

It was a dirty secret for a while that the skin was ripped anyway, I heard the first rumours of it in the Fashion Consolidated Cafe channel months ago, when some members screamed not to buy the skins. I just didn't know who it was taken from.

Now I do.

I know lots more dirty secrets by now by so-called SL fashionista icons, but I can't be arsed to talk about them. But they make me sick to my stomach.

As soon as I saw the article, I went and bought myself a Minnu skin! I love it! And the place was packed as it always is..Ive been checking in once in a while and havent noticed any difference in traffic.

I personally think this situation needs to be handled in the court of law. This is just another smear campaign attempt at Minnu, and once again Tenshi putting the cart before the horse. Im sure if I showed you pictures of exact copies of items taken from renderosity that armidi has made (i.e. shoes) you(Tenshi) wouldnt care the least bit.

Just out of curiosity, how would you know how packed the sim was always if you'd not bought a Minnu skin before? And if you had bought a Minnu skin before, don't you think its a bit of misrepresentation to not say that you were already a fan of Minnu and her skins and already loved them?

I just want to post a note on the behalf of Aradia, she and I are friendly and she IM'ed me to talk after I mentioned that that second group notice was very " ". She told me that the update group had been full of almost nothing but discussing it, and a lot of people were getting far less civil than should be tolerated, and there were quite a lot of personal attacks going on that wouldn't exactly be considered a discussion. In Aradia's case, she was sick of it and wanted to silence it quickly and in an extremely no-nonsense fashion, so in context it's not nearly as zealous and fanatical as it seems just quoted here.

Ive been to that sim tons of times, I have a gen2 skin, but havent seen the gen4 until the scd post. I also LOVE cachet too. Im not sure I follow your logic tbh with you...you think I needed to preface my statement with "I own a MM skin"? Thats a little bizarre if you ask me. I was simply stating that as soon as I saw Ten post that article, I would offer my support to Minnu by purchasing one of her new skins. Turns out her SCD post did nothing at all to the traffic of the Glam sim, since the place was packed with gorean slaves, and lots of non-english speaking individuals.

oh and I can assure you that if someone showed Tenshi that Armidi had ripped off shoes or anything else, and Ten was convinced of the veracity of the claim, she'd go after Armidi (or anyone else) as only a "reporter" on the heels of a hot juicy story can go after anyone. If there's anything I've learned about Ten, its that she doesn't care who she ends up going after if it involved content theft.

So you probably wouldn't have done that (offer support to Minnu) unless you were already a fan of Minnu's or disliked Tenshi or had some other motivation -- which you conveniently failed to mention. Also you seem to be familiar with the traffic on the sim, meaning that you've been there in between gen 2 and now.

I don't honestly recall Chip, Humps or Johanna specifically discounting anyone's opinions or labelling folks as naive or stupid simply because they agreed with the position Tenshi presented. I'm not saying i disagree with their policy of caution and skepticism either - my previous post is evidence of this. What I am saying, though, is that folks should be free to have their opinion - whether for, against or neutral - based on what evidence is out there, rather than your say so that Tenshi is not to be trusted.

That's all I have to say about you and your undying love for Tenshi.

Can we please move on?

1.) I dislike Tenshi
2.) I Like Minnu
3.) I have been to MM between the Gen2 and Gen4 release, but did not bother to look at her new skins since I already love my Gen2 so much.
4.) Who am I?..I'd give you an existential response, but it would probably go over your head.
