Organic's Mark Kingdon Flies to Linden Labs

News just dropped that Organic Chief Mark Kingdon has flown the coop to join Second Life developer Linden Lab as CEO. Congrats to Mark, a longtime friend of ClickZ. Here's hoping he can help marketers wrap their brains around the virtual world -- something that hasn't exactly panned out so far.

I wonder what the psychological effect would be of looking at many pictures in rapid succession, for hours, knowing that a few of them will be in poor taste or be child porn. Definitely a job that ought to be pushed off on computers as much as possible.

I'm no fan of censorship, though. Unfortunately there are some sick fux out there. But while MySpace is trying to be all-ages, I sincerely hope SL never will be.
