My daughter plays that game...

But then Thor and her went to the same school together and she will be in 5 th grade soon (states now) so she will likely need a new game. She left WoW at the second grade. She had vent on so she could talk to other people who played wow but she had to talk very slow and use small words for the wow user. She was upset that drool would clog up their microphones also. She quickly lost interest in WoW when she could understand mouse clicks. Now eve she enjoyed hammering poor little innocent miners in starter ships.

Another software toy, Eve Fitting Tool is available here: EVE Online | EVE Insider | Forums

This is useful to test ship fits since it reads out fitting limits for ships against your character's skills. It uses the same user id/api character import numbers as what's needed for EVEMon. It even reads out how long the capacitor will last with any combination of activated fits.

Well, intrigued and a little bit excited, I signed up for the free trial, read a couple of guides to get the feel for the game, created a character, and dived in.
Then remembered how crap I was at playing Elite.

downloaded the 14 day trial.

as stated before, i'm a huge fan of the Homeworld series, so this just kinda seemed right up my alley.

i'm (finally) reducing my SL account to basic, so i can afford to have a subscription to something else. this seems more in line with something i would enjoy than, say, WoW.
