So, I spent a couple of hours last night attempting to get Vanahks Staff for my new Necro I rolled (hey I like my new characters to have pretties before I start them, ok?

)

After about 30 attempts and no drop I got huffy and went to roll my Necro anyways haha! Started him in Elona, name Oba Femi. He's going to be Blood or Curses as I really, REALLY don't want to be a Minion Master as it's not my playstyle at all.

Edit: Oooh I also did Turai's bonus mission that you can get by buying the bonus packs. That was awesome, perfect inscribable weapons for doing fun, interesting missions...mmmm!

I finally manage to beat Saul's mission from the Bonus Pack. The last boss kept setting me on fire and killing me every time I tried

But now I have a shiny new Mursaat scythe! Just have to find a good inscription and parts to slap onto it.

A couple of old SL/forum friends have got me back into GW. I still have my original character, a necromancer/mesmer minion master. I have had GW since it came out, and I am level 18

Make sure you grab the "wandering priest" or scouts by the resurrection shrines, they give you extra points for bounties. Sorry if this is old news, but I keep forgetting

. You could probably also cache in a couple of quests. 570 isn't that bad, especially when some quests offer 100 as a reward

This is the only part I hate about Nightfall, having to get the points to advance!

In other news, Necro is now at level 5 (Yeah I did lots last night!

), but has a shiny Tengu Staff! Now just to level him and get my build sorted!

Me and my man played through quite a bit of Elona today, we made it all the way to Nightfallen Sebhorin before we realized... we were sick of playing, haha. Got some paragon captures though, and we managed to do the Grand Court mission after like, seven tries. YIKES. Guys, when you reach the Grand Court of Sebelkeh mission... just brace yourself and be ready to fail a couple of times. If you make it through on the first try, more power to you!!

I would capture a bit more on our monk, but we're dead broke. I bankrupted us with our skill capturing and now I need to do either some selling off of inventory or some gold farming (oh god please no not farming

). Best way to get quick money is to go solo 55 some mountain trolls outside of Droks, but I feel a bit guilty... our monk already has something like 2000 deaths on her tally already. We beat that poor girl up so bad!!

I keep meaning to get on and play, but I'm too lazy to grind my remaining Sunspear points on Borelean, and the Elona storyline is too fresh in my mind to have fun replaying on my Paragon...

Maybe I'll start a Cantha character and play with that for a while

Is that in the Barbarous Shore? It's not as hard as it seems, there's a way to go around through the cave and take them out group by group. If you take 'em on at the rez shrine that's just asking for a suicide. I tried doing that and was taking them down one by one with 60%DP lol!

I've already gotten all of the captures there, but I also need money, and corsairs have some >.>

Heh, the Necro is kind of on hold...been playing my Ranger for the past oooh...11 hours messing and getting through some Eye of the north and Elona...got Elite Sunspear Armour on the first four of my heroes though so I'm happy

Hahahaha no that's Tihark Orchard, but I seriously love that quest too

Sebelkeh is the one where you have to keep the Blasphemy from taking over the Altar of Lyss, so you have to kill all those Margonites before they spawn from the Torment rifts.

Wow, nice!! That's the one where you do a challenge mission to recover "stolen armor" right? I haven't tried doing that yet since I was focusing on getting through the story, but that sounds like it could be fun. Is it tough?

Both are horribly addictive. You are forgiven.

With this achievement, I am quite happy to return to more regular times on SL. I've been working on getting the title for a whole year, on and off, with my fiance. We still have some work to do, because we want People Know Me, but for now, the first hurtle is done and we have a kickass thing to display for now

Literally every time I sign on I get a green text message that says "You received a guild invitation from Ramnorock Kiros to join Talon Enclave."

I don't know if it's the same person/guild all the time. I just know that I don't see anywhere how I can accept or deny the request. Is someone spamming me the second I log in, or is there an offline invite thinger?

Also: I LOVE the minipets! They're so much cooler than the ones in WoW!

EDIT: Ah- I found where I can accept. The Guild menu.

EDIT 2: LOL there are like 2 members and 14 invitees. :lol:
