Hmmm I have become rather addicted to GW again lately. I find myself spending more time there than in SL the last couple of weeks. Hell I even made a Ritualist just to get this armour...

it was very very funny for the first few minutes but i really started to miss my amazing ranger and her amazing armor when i was catching up to the GWEN story in the scrying pool

and got put of killing things with a skinny, hole on the head man so i gathered up a few people in LA and made a dance party

oh talking of parties, i heard a GW player saying there will be a party this weekend because one of the managers of GW is retiring or leaving, anyone else heard the news?

YES I have a reason to raise it though.... 'cause I started playing again. It's what happens when I get stressed, I retreat into exploring and all that. Has anyone played lately? My man is working on getting our joint character the faction titles in EotN

Thank you for necroposting Siyu. I too have Guild Wars (Factions and just plain Guild Wars) and I have to say I prefer the Factions one. But I haven't played it in awhile.

Factions is my favorite campaign too

I think I especially love the asian theme and the gorgeous scenery, I feel at home there. But Elona and EotN have cute, adorable creatures that you get to play in once you get far enough and that shifted my affection a bit

But Cantha is still THE number one place for the amount of time I've spent there. I have grandmaster cartographer and Canthan skill hunter

In Elona, at a certain point in the game you end up reaching a long streak of desert that has evol people all over it, that you're not able to cross as a human. It's called the "Sulfurous Wastes" so if you walk on it as you character, you die. Part of the story is that you go follow a dead warrior to tame the queen of the Junundu, which are suspiciously like sand worms from Dune..... (

). So, after you do that, you get to "enter the worm" and run around with sand worm skills and eat people and roar

They did it with EotN too, and did ENORMOUS Devourers (those insect like creatures with the split scorpion tails) that are sort of dressed up like Olliphants from LotR, and you get to capture those guys and ride 'em around on a rampage

I still pop in a bit, most recently to get that MOX golem hero. I tend to run around all by myself for a while not knowing what to do before logging off

. Sometimes I help lower levels out on easy missions so I can't screw anything up too badly while getting used to the game again.

I suppose it'd be silly of me to suggest you chase a title, but they are going to have title rewards for your characters in Guild Wars 2....

It has been like 7 months since I have played. I still have a bit of gold there. I sold my old account on Ebay (it was a very early one) then I decided to get back into it and bought all but the first title over again.

It really is a great game. I miss it at times but know if I go back it will be short lived.

I simply can not wait until Guild Wars 2. I was really worried about the higher level cap, but they reassured in their faq's over and over again that one of their biggest priorities is to be grind free.

Awesome! I loved being a Ranger. My second fave to play was a Monk. God, I have to stop before I download it again and install.....

hey hey yeah i play guildwars have been playing it from the start, not so keen on Eye of the North but always open to added new friends ... my main is a necro she has finished prophecies and factions and nightfall plodding along in Eye of the North if you care to join me anytime PM Madam Trisha ( yeah i know silly name but i am awful at char names lmao).
