Diablo is released on NA in 8 Hours, and is already released in EU and Asia servers.

SO. Who all is playing, and what class are you going to play first?

I tried all the classes during beta - I think I will start out with the witch doctor, since I had the most fun with that one.

I was going to buy this Wednesday but a trip away has gotten in the way of that. I'll be a week late to the show but no bother, probably just avoiding hassle by giving it that few days.

Downloading as we speak. Hubby and I are working short day tomorrow and taking days off! We are both making Demon Hunters to start with. But I think Ill also need a Barb 'cause hubby tries to tank on Amazons, and will on a Demon Hunter and that never ends well...

Edit to add: some of our friends in Europe already have HC characters! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

This past week has been a feast for me after a long winter of famine.

First it was buying Tera Online and playing it every day until The Secret World open beta weekend. And then today, I finally got a chance to peek into Guild Wars 2 and can't wait for their next stress test.

But tomorrow is THE DAY. I removed the beta client and downloaded/installed the full client today. I even started it once so I could watch the spine-tingling intro video and psych myself up. Now I can't stop watching it. I have a very strong physical reaction to this:

I'll probably try out the demon hunter and witch doctor at some point (who am I kidding? Eventually I'll try them all). But my first character must be a sorceress. It's who I am.

Are accounts still going to be limited by region? Will most of us be on the American servers?

This is so fucking inexcusably stupid. It's not like they haven't had multiple WoW expansions with the same issues on day one — this is ridiculous to have saddled onto what should be a single player game.

I know people will be playing with no troubles in a few hours or by tomorrow, but I really hope they remember that this happened, and could happen again for whatever reason, locking you out of playing a game you paid for even if you just want to play on your own.

I got in finally, made my character. Adam is struggling to create his, he keeps getting "Unable to create Hero due to party status" errors. That's really helpful.
