I am amazed how star trekkish Star Trek Online has become while I was gone. Voiceovers for quests (not all, just a few) and finally more missions in which you have to negotiate, grow plants, scan for new lifeforms... and boldly go where thousands of other players had been before.

I have to admit - I love it. (again)

I think STO would have been a lot better as a single-player game with a multi-player/co-op component.

Dammit, Steam has struck me again. I just bought the L.A. Noire Complete Edition for $19.99.

P.S. I didn't know it but they updated it to being able to play it in DX11. It looked great on the Xbox 360 so it should look fantastic on the PC

MY WoW account has been compromised, checking for malware now. Apparently everything has been restored after speaking to the guy from Blizzard (who was really nice and helpful btw). I wasn't that worried but then someone pointed out to me that they could add game time using my credit card, but they actually used a promotional 7 day pass which is still credited to my account, and I can now level one of my characters instantly to lvl 80 lol. Going to secure with an authenticator and then let it be I think, I'm in no rush to log back into it.

I created a temporary Xbox Live account til I can get mine cleared up. It'll be only on Windows though since when they suspend an account they use the Console ID number to do it so even if I tried the new one on my Xbox 360 it still wouldn't work. The Gamertag is Edav1 so join me if you want. Later today I'm going to get one of those cards that I can use to get Xbox Live Gold.

I got my first Achievement earlier on Edav1. It was "I'm Batman" from Batman: Arkham City PC version that I got from Impulse during their weekend sale.

Also, why can't my Defiant character pass money to my little Guardian, even through indirect means like WoW's neutral auction house? She's at level 28 and there's no way I'm going to have enough platinum for the next mount by 30.

SWTOR are fucking robber barons... first you have to buy the game instead of just install and subscribe... effectively paying for 4mos and getting 1mo, but then when you do buy they force you to immediately buy more game time or subscribe, ensuring they get payed again, even if you decide to cut your losses.... asshat move EA, asshat move.

I am tired of the $59.99 MMO client in general, especially since after a few months it is normally like $9.99 or free. It's a huge money grab for a game that can't be played without also subscribing.
