It's funny that just after finishing the last episode of Deep Space 9 and the next season of missions for Star Trek Online deals with the Jem'Hadar.

Star Trek Online season four kicks off on Saturday, the Jem’Hadar are back | PC Gamer

i left sto to come to swtor... They have done allot and a good job... within a shot time span but once you start reaching the high levels it will seem to repeat itself... you'll switch in no time... Tho if you need some help feel free to add @fowltief

Also Swtor new patch with resize huds, new content, and legacy system... Not long at all..

So far I'm mostly doing the episodic missions. I have done the first two parts of the new season which is the one with the return of the Jem'Hadar that were trapped by the Prophets in the DS9 season 6 episode "Sacrifice of Angels" where Starfleet takes back the station from the Dominion but were let go because the Prophets said that they needed to exist. I have done a couple of the regular missions but only because they were different from the others on my list.

I'm going absolutely mad out of my head with all of the closed beta footage from Guild Wars 2 coming out this weekend.

I just realized that Flatout 2 runs perfect on my new netbook. But rear wheel drive cars are impossible to steer on dirt tracks with keys only. I spin out constantly.
FWD and 4WD is ok.
I guess I have to take the xbox controller with me tomorrow but I fear I will look like a complete nerd on the train trip then.

I've never been so flipping excited about any thing in my life. I bet when I give birth, I will be thinking to myself it was almost as wonderful as when Guild Wars 2 came out.

This might sound crazy but I have more fun just watching TV in GTA IV than playing the game. I also wish that I could just ride around without getting phone calls.

I got startrek online, have a bit of fun with it. the place is swamped with players though. never seen anything quite like it...

The ground missions are terrible, though. far too easy. Space missions are fairly easy too but far better fun than on the ground.

All in all I can't believe people subscribed to play this. it feels like a F2p.

There are difficulty levels for missions.

Quote:
Difficulty Slider
  • Players are now able to set their difficulty setting in the options screen or from the episodes tab of the journal UI. Your current difficulty level will also be displayed in various parts of the UI. (Mission tracker, team window, target window)
  • The available settings are:
    1. Normal – STO’s default and current setting. If you enjoy STO’s difficulty as is continue to play on the Normal difficulty level.
    2. Advanced – If you frequently play games and are looking for more of a challenge than STO’s default setting choose this difficulty level.
    3. Elite – If you are a STO veteran and you want the bragging rights of going against the hardest challenge that STO offers choose this difficulty level.
  • When teamed it is the Team Leader’s difficulty level that is used to determine the difficulty of a map.
  • A player’s Difficulty Setting will not affect open maps or persistant maps. (Fleet actions, pvp, ipvp, social maps or deepspace encounters)
  • A player will only be able to modify their difficulty level when they are on static maps, not on instanced maps. (social maps, sector space)
  • With greater risk come greater rewards. Playing on higher difficulty levels will grant more rewards from critters than the lower difficulty settings.
Death Penalty, difficulty slider, and updated Commodity missions are up on Tribble! - Star Trek Online Forums

You should have seen ground combat before it was changed. It's still not as good as the space combat though but an improvement from what it was.

Dammit! Steam had a deal that I just couldn't pass up. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is for sale for $10.19 for the weekend. All of the DLC are also on sale. The Missing Link is $5.09. Explosive Mission Pack is $1.01 and the Tactical Enhancement Pack is $0.67.

After viewing the first full motion cutscene, having gotten a glance at men you might some day meet face to face, Megan asks you to come with her. Despite her nervosity, take a look around in her office, because you'll never be coming back here again.

First of all, note the [EBOOK] on the bench to your left. Megan will comment on this mysterious Patient X, and shrugs it off. There's a digital [NEWSPAPER] on the desk, and you can also inspect the small [FRAMED PICTURE], as well as the [BOOK] behind the chair. Also have a look at the [TOY CAR] on the filing cabinet. Lastly, have a look at Megan's emails to learn more about the research she's conducting, then talk to her and you'll automatically walk along.

I just don't like how a lot games kinda hold your hand through the game now-o-days.

stop showing me where to go!

stop telling me what I need to do next!

stop going so damn easy on me!

That said, don't pull a Castlevania 2. That shit isn't funny. (still love that game despite it's obvious flaws).

That's why I still play old-school games. Like NES Battletoads.
I also play lots of Super Meat Boy. It's frustrating in a good way.

Someone needs to do a Let's Play of ME3 because I'm curious how awful the plot gets but I'm not about to support Origin by giving them money.

If you're looking for a challenge, I have to recommend Dark Souls. You're tossed into a hostile world with a broken sword, tattered rags for clothes, and no semblence of where or who you are, or what to do. Oh and every single enemy, from the weakest trash mob to the huge demonic godlike dragony type stuffs, can kill you in a few hits.

I want Dark Souls so bad, but I know myself enough to know I should stay away.

Finally just beat ME1 and in the middle of ME2, trying to finish it before the 6th!! I just wish I could get some kind of real life buff to add time for games. I have so many on my plate and more come out before I ever finish the others!

Stack to play beside me (and hopefully finish!):
SWTOR
STO
LOTRO
Skyrim (pc)
ME2
Kingdoms of Amalur
Forza 4
Fallout (any of em)
Fallen Earth
ME3 (soon!)
GW2 Beta (fingers crossed)
Wizard 101
and many many more....

Dark Souls was great. A bit easier than Demon's Souls, but it was rounded out better overall I thought. Demon's Souls had a number of boss fights that could be beaten with cheap, silly glitches and it otherwise ruined the difficult game. Dark Souls' curve was rounded out better, so it wasn't "relatively easy area," "completely fucking asinine hard area" etc etc.
