I already had 4 lightsiders on shadowlands and will be moving 4 sith from another server to shadowlands. So I'll have characters there just not the ones I made on DC. I think I only have @1 month sub left, then I'll probably be playing Secret World instead. But I'll gladly throw some bodies in the guild in case I come back, if you'll have me.

I'm thinking jump, because there's no telling when open transfers might be available....

I'm not going to be transfering my LS character, I want to see what happens to the legacy (character is not technically high enough level for one), plus I was going to reroll that one anyway.... to a healer instead of stealth.

I went in and checked to see if they all transferred but when I did so it went to the choose your faction screen since it goes to the last server you were on. I had to create a new character there before I could switch to The Shadowlands. All of my characters that were on DC have transferred over but had to change the name of my Trooper.

If you backed all the way out of character creation, you'd get back to server selection.
The same happened to me and I also started making a new toon, but then was like... FUCK THAT, I want my lvl 33 Sith Inquisitor!
So, I backed out and was able to choose server and see my 3 characters that I transferred from DC to TS (The Shadowlands).

But yeah, I'm all switched over to TS and ready to re-join CotBO and OotWL once they're recreated.

I also changed my Legacy name (not sure if having that option meant someone else already had "Rumpcious" as a Legacy name, but I wanted to change it anyway) to "Angrum".
And why is it that "Spouse" is the only option for "the other parent of my child"???
Why don't they have "Heat of battle sex partner"?!?!?!?

Got all mine transferred over. No troubles with the names other than my Jedi Sentinel. Aileen is now Thalya.

Legacy names are stored separately from character info, so you have to recreate it for moved characters apparently unless there's one in place. You can recreate the same one, and it'll just do the normal check for duplicates.

ETA:
legacy skills will disappear from your bars until second login, and you'll need to reload your interface tweaks (you saved them locally right?)

market is a bit cheaper for many rare goods, but not noticeably for most things... and there's a lot more available. there were ~30-40 on fleet compared to the usual 5-10 for this hour so I figure about ~5 times what the origin server had for most hours.... should make heroics and FP's MUCH more doable.

so i can not xfer because i'm the gm. but i'm seriously thinking about cancelling my account. i don't have time to play and my lack of time is getting more and more pronounced as time goes on. so i think what we need to do is empty the bank so you guys can take all that stuff with you. someone should start up the guild on shadowlands. i'll move over there but just to have my toons where you are.

I'm on nowish for a few hours grinding space dailies, if someone wants to restart the guild on empire side...

viv, i'd just dump it all in your account (it's only about half a page and 300k cash) and resign as GM / demote yourself then transfer... take a screen of the guild bank before you go for customer service.

there may be a hitch... only the former GM seems to be able to submit for the bank/storage to be reinstated... and it's possible that will only be allowed if the former GM is the current GM =/

anyways, I'm "Rivu" when we're ready to set up on the new, if needed.

i will try and handle all this this weekend. of course i'll help out making the guild again and do whatever we need to in order to xfer the bank over. I just think at this point, after we do the xfer stuff, someone else needs to take over the gm position of the guild.

I freaked out for a second thinking I'd lost my settings when it was all back to default... then I remembered I'd saved a couple setups for myself.
VERY handy feature to be able to save UI settings!

yeah when the default ui pop up I wasn't surprised by it happening, but forgot how HUGE it is compared to what I use... seriously, I have 3 of the quickbars in less space than the default 1. they're double rows 1-6, with the bottom shifted, 2nd bar is +ctrl, third is +alt. last bar is out of combat stuff.

I left SWTOR on all day yesterday (~8amEST-9pmEST), and only managed to catch ronjon (twice) on the Imp side... I have NOTHING on the Pub side (because I'm going to reroll that char) I dunno that I'll be available much past 5pmEST today.

if Guild invites could be sent while people are offline it'd be no sweat, because anyone one of us could grab 3 volunteers to create it, and then just push invites....

A few names are not showing up Imp Side.... Lianne, Olivie, Toombz, and a few others... this might be because they haven't been individually logged in?

I've only got the one (Rivu) on, so I'm really easy....

I'll retry some from the member list pics I took in a bit, right now I'm borededly cataloging the LXP/$$$ for each of the space misions, while reverse engineering every level of vendor mods... so far I've got everything up to 16a uncommons, and working on the rares for that.... anyone want's uncommons of any level <23 just say so... free, because I get the mats while gathering materials for rares anyways. I have no 23+ schems because they are all NMOP/boss drops

That's very strange, because i've been on both Lianne and Olivie and added Rivu to their lists with no problem. I saw you on earlier this morning in fact.

Just logged in Toombz (who was a name change) and was able to add Rivu as a friend. I do get "name doesn't exist" messages for Olivie and Lianne. There's a few characters from hubby's and son's account that are coming up as not existing as well. Guess the move has a few bugs for them to squish. I'll submit a ticket on it at least.

We've got the guild created on Empire side. So far it's just mine, Void's, and Polygon and her son's characters in it.

We'll have to figure out the whole guild bank thing, if we want to transfer the contents over and how that will work.
