No Dnate you can't play another server. There are paid character transfers though.

Well, you could xfer your tune, or just roll a different one there. (Good time to try out a class you're interested in but haven't played yet!)

I play on Arathor when I can but trying to get my level 70 forward takes up a lot of my time. She's alliance, so it's not a situation I could transfer her over.

I'm on Lightninghoof (Horde), too, at times. I might play one day/night a week if I'm lucky. If I'm around (feel free to add Cadman to your friends list) shoot me a whisper ( /w Cadman ). Otherwise, as mentioned, if you're looking to try a different class/race hop on Arathor (Horde) and there are plenty of us in our guild to help you get started. Bear in mind that Arathor is a PvE server; whereas Lightninghoof is PvP.

Either way, have fun and don't be shy about asking for help or advice.

Cool thanks Kavik, ill check them out. The one I was looking for was a cool site that gave coordinates of where quest and people were and stuff. Was good for when I couldnt remember where to turn a quest in.

I just made a blood elf palidan on the server you guys play on. I am assuming you are Horde is that accurate?

Ahh, yes. You're looking for a few MODs that work VERY well together.

Go to www.wowinterface.com and download the following MODs:

Lightheaded
TomTom
DoubleWide

And, yes; we're Horde. Add the following folks to your Friends List (we're the ones that can invite you into the Guild should you wish to do so):

Vivianne (Draper)
Oppai (Etain Peregrine)
Kavik

And, if we're not on look for:

Snookums (Taco Rubio)
Berdache (Nethermind Bliss)
Phile (Alexa Lioncourt)

They can't invite you but will give you a hand with stuff if they're around.

It depends on what you mean by the wrong server - each region, Pacific, EU and US have different lists of servers. You can connect to a different server in your region or have a paid character transfer to a different server in the same region, but to connect to a different region, you need to have a paid account for that region's software and download that region's version of the software.

With the software and account you have now, you are stuck with whichever region you are now playing on (hence my inability to connect to the US list of servers)

PS. there are no servers in Japan, so you wouldn't be able to connect to one anyway

Son, you need to learn to read yous sum engrish. Dnate is level 14. I just bought the game today and am installing it (You get a free month btw). I'm asking if I should wait for the downloader to patch or if I should DL the patch manually.

Yeah the free 10 day trial thing. I went out and got the battlechest thing with the game and the expansion today.

Mostly out of sheer anger at something fucked up.

I installed and ran and beat COD4 without reading the system requirments (Which my CPU does not meet). I had to uninstall it to do some stuff, reinstalled it...and now it won't play.
