Swamp of sorrows is a laugh, every now and then a high level player will drive through and whack you on the head

I like the green goop on the spiders though, I want some green goop too

I just killed a crab, it had a hat.

It wasn't even WEARING it, he should of and then he would have had +10 intellect and +11 spirit.

Hmm. Right now to be honest I'm not sure if I am going to buy it. It's not that I don't like it, as they've made a bunch of changes since I tried it so very long ago. The problem is my RL is being kind of crazy, and things in SL are picking up to the point where I can't justify spending the extra 15 per month on a MMO I can't devote much time to. I will save the account name and all that so if/when I do have time you'll still get a free month Joshua.

In EQ, EQ2 and now WoW, I fish a lot.
I remember sitting watching a sunset while fishing on the docks, thinking "maybe I should look for a fishing MMORPG"

Now I realise why all my characters are low level

Specific people you know the name of?
You can send them email from any postbox in the game and tell them to meet you at a certain place.

hit O, open the friend tab, and add friend... you need to know what they're called though. I think Josh etc have that in their little profile thingy.

edit to add: Josh is Mixvio.

One important thing to keep in mind is that in order to play with others, you need to know the following:

1) Which server they are on. Also, they must be using the same regional servers (US, EU, etc..).
2) Which side they are playing (Alliance or Horde - you have to play the same side to be able to play with them, but not the same race )
3) Their character name.

Many people have put that info in their profile here - if you look at the WoW Characters dropdown for me, you can see the server and character names of some of my characters. The icon indicates Alliance (blue) or Horde (red), then it is country, server name, then character name.

No. But you can disable the hat display in the interface preferences. I did that for a long time while wearing purple pimp hat.
