For anybody that pre-ordered Aion, today you can preselect two characters - one for each faction If you are interested in playing with a group of Second Life people (including me), please feel free to register your two preselect characters as follows:

For Asmodian, select server Ariel.
For Elysos, select server Yustiel.

I am "Persephonee" on both servers. Clever, huh?

What classes did you pick. I really liked the Cleric and Scout classes when I played them during the beta

Probably going to play Asmodian more though, I kinda can't stand the majority of Elyos armor styles, and their areas are pretty boring.

One of the leather leg piece models is a miniskirt so short it's nearly a belt.

Come on that's just absurd, and it looks terrible. I'll stick with Asmo and my sexy leather pants.

Apparently many of the servers are full, anyone who hasn't already made their character will have to wait until head-start, unless they decide on a different server.

I'm happy that they nixed gameguard but this server cap nonsense is...nonsense.

I have a bunch of gamer buddies playing on Lumiel Elyos (Cadenza), but I'm playing Azphel Asmo with my guild. I probably won't have enough time to make an Elyos alt.

Turns out that Zikel is fucked beyond all belief, so the people i'm with are going to be on Ariel as Asmo after all.

[edit] Once I get through the server queue my character is going to be named Sulana, or Thalya.

Servers in europe went live at 8pm BST and were full and locked within an hour. My server I'm trying to get onto where my two characters are I'm currently sat at position 3120 in the queue

I just found out that a couple of the Aion Collectors Edition items aren't available til a certain level and of course Direct2Drvie didn't mention that or I wouldn't have gotten it in the first place. One is called Black Cloud Wings and it gives an extra 40 seconds of flying time but is only available at level 30. The other is an earring that gives +72 to the HP and MP but it isn't available til level 20. I looked at it on Steam and it also doesn't mention it.

I only found out because I was looking to see when the items would be available to get and found it on the Aion official website.

The Black Cloud Hat sure is ugly but the stats are very nice on it. As soon as I put mine on I made it invisible.

Well I got to level 10 and got my wings on Dargothe who is now an Assassin. Tomorrow I'll try to get my Warrior there but haven't decided which sub-class I will pick. I'm leaning towards Templar.

I noticed an interesting thing now long after I got my wings. A message pooped up and said something like, "You have been playing for 2 hours. Please take a break."
