I'm still enjoying Spore when I can steal the odd hour or two to play. You're all just crazy.

Well, that and I haven't got the attention span to actually immerse myself in a game, haha.

I started a new game and had to face the character from the first game. He kept kicking my ass. At first I wanted to try and be friends but I made them into some mean fuckers. I eventualy just wiped them out. I felt horrible.

I think the editors really do make Spore into a more entertaining game than just the underlying parts. Sort of like City of Heroes or Second Life, being able to play the game with stuff you've made, or at least painstakingly picked out, helps draw you in and immerse you.

Yeah I have to admit I like this game more and more each day. I am starting to get addicted. I am realizing there is depth if you want it. It is cool that you can just do the levels if thats the type of game you want as well.

I actually finally made it to the freaking Tribe level. So far, I'm not liking it so much. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me - it is like a bad RTS game all the sudden. I will admit, the creature mode did have some wonderful moments - like these cow like creatures freaking out when a space ship flew over.

Cris, Tribal and Civilization is a RTS game. Not a very good one either. The only cool thing with Civilization is you can use your creations.

I started a new game and am trying my hardest to never attack. So far I have not started one fight and have made everyone in Tribal my friend. I started Civilization mode as a Religious city because of this.

The longer I play it. The more boring it gets. Space is actually ridiculously easy. Personally I wish they would expand the earlier stages. And for the love of god how did I go from cell to walking on land. Why are there no aquatic creatures?

Spore is recieving a lot of negative attention because of it's DRM system:

Right now, there are over 2000 one star reviews of Spore on Amazon.

At this point, I don't see much point in spore. I was originally quite excited about it, but that has faded quickly. I'm unlikely to ever play it now. thanks EA.

I played Spore for like... 7 hours yesterday, I had a blast. Maybe it's because I had no expectations for it at all, it was always just something that looked neat.

I started a new game on medium and took my time. The stages are a lot deeper this time. Civ stage actually gave me a run for my money, taking 3-4 hours of epic fighting rather than "loloairplanerapelololol"

Everybody I know who plays games to accomplish them or become engrossed in them is hating it.

I, on the other hand, have the attention span of a goldfish. And I love it.

Even if all I do is fly around dropping atmosphere suckers on Grox worlds.

I am really angry that the terrasculpting tools don't destroy colonies, though. I wanted to decimate my enemies with the Cute Stamp.
