Reggae Reggae Sauce

I have known of it since Levi Roots appeared on Dragon's Den in 2007 but for some reason not tried it till a few weeks ago and I now have a serious Reggae Reggae Sauce habit. So much so that Tabasco is no longer my hot sauce of choice

Heh, Tabasco hasn't been my hot sauce of choice for years. There's so much hotter and less vinegary stuff out there

This is great on chicken. It's incredibly hot though, so I usually just use it to add flavor to the ketchup that my friends like to call bbq sauce.

This is our go-to stuff. We use it in place of ketchup on almost everything.

My hot sauce of choice is made locally by an African lady caled Osa, and sold only in local markets. It's called Osa Fire Sauce and is made from Scotch Bonnet peppers - and almost nothing else.

I swear by this stuff:

It's incredibly well-balanced, a hot sauce that has a carrot/habanero base. Unlike Louisiana hot sauces, it's not overwhelmingly vinegary, nor is it tomato-y. Made in Belize, but you should be able to find it at your Mexican grocery store or buy it online.

Marie Sharp's is very nice indeed. Altho admittedly, for me, too mild for my chiliheadedness

But, it tastes great!

I found a liking to Sriracha hot sauce. The red stuff you find at most asian places. The CoIMEANRooster sauce.

Tho I am also a fan of the really nasty stuff. But almost all of the big brands (CaJohn's, Dave's, Blair's, Mad Dog, Marie Sharp's, Pain Is Good..) also offer very tasty, not too hot or even mild sauces that are very worth trying out. And one can find a lot of smaller brands that make wonderful stuff, at the big online stores, too.

Valentina is tasty, need to get the black label, though.

Also a fan of sriracha

I bought this for Quimby and he tried it once and complained that it burned his lips. This from a guy who practically drank sriracha until we discovered gochujang.
