Yes to diet, no to low carb, yes to pepper.

It was the only healthy thing I had at the moment I could eat without cooking something.

SPENT UP MY CALORIES TODAY WITH A BIG 'OL DOUBLE CHEESEY BURGER AND FRIES.

Really me dieting means cutting out soda or limiting it to one at most (I'VE DRANK SO MUCH COFFEE TODAY) and trying to limit myself to around 1500-2000 calories a day. I'll still eat junk, just not sugar heavy stuffs or bread that's stuffed inside bread, topped with bread and "pointless" carbs. Usually I'll cut out sides like fries but It was the only real meal I had today and I wanted friesandgoddamnitnooneain'tgonnatellmeIcan'thaveth emif'nIwant'em.

The Dial Back The Over The Top Bullshit Diet. I like that one. It took me down 40 pounds one summer when coupled with walking a couple miles every day.

Also zero or barely any calorie foods are good to have around like pickles to combat boredom eating.

And hot sauce.

Okay I've got a question for you guys as have like properly equipped kitchens and stuff. It's about the four jars. You know, those four like decreasingly-small canisters that sit at the back of the counter:

I mean those are a certain style and there's a jillion different styles, but the idea is always the same, you got four canisters, always four and each a different size.

Okay so my question is: is there like certain things that are definitely supposed to go in those? I mean like traditionally? Or has it always been just whatever-the-heck?

In my experience, the biggest one always holds sugar, and the next-biggest flour - I think. But I have no idea what the other two are supposed to hold. I think one of them is NOT salt, because even my elderly European relatives have always just left the salt in the round carton it comes in from the store.

Thoughts/opinions?

Aside from Flour and Sugar, we keep Rice in one of the smaller ones and plastic bottle lids to donate in the other.

We used to keep those boxed tops you cut off packages in a 5th smaller jar.

We don't even have those jars. If we did..in decreasing size: flour, sugar, tea, salt

When I was a child in the '50's I'm pretty sure it was always floor, sugar, coffee, tea, in descending order.

Doesn't that sort of the defeat the purpose why (some) people switch to non-dairy milks?

Anyway, I'm gonna need to see where they do all this cockroach milking.

Fast Food places shpuld be required by law to label of their frozen drinks are Icee or Icee knockoffs because Icee has this distinct seltzer water after taste that is fucking disgusting and an Icee is NOT a "Frozen Lemonade".

You know what I'm really jonesing for lately? Queen Anne cherries. They're these creamy-white colored cherries with maybe a little red or pink marbled in, and they are ohhhh so sweet and delish. But now as I think on it in the years since I moved to Louisiana I have not seen them in any grocery store I've been to, not even once. I guess they're just not available down here.

I realize that pretty photos of Italian food for some reason like to show a dish with like this nest of plain spaghetti with like half a cup of the sauce very neatly poured on the very top of it; but it seems like so many people making it at home saw that so they now make pasta and sauce and serve them separately like that, and I guess people are expected to "top" the spaghetti with the sauce and mix it on their plates.

My peeps, real people don't make spaghetti like that. Including actual Italians (I have this on good authority). As soon as the pasta is drained, it goes back in the pot and the simmering sauce goes right on top of it. In fact, you could do worse than to give it a minute or two more simmer time after it's been mixed together like that.
