Dammit this thread just made me remember I'd forgotten to get anything out of the freezer.

Homemade pizza to the rescue again! Luckily I have in hand the salami, tomato and cheese - I just need to grab some flat bread on the way home from work.

So tonight I went to a place across the road from my house. They feature wood fired grilled entrees, but also have a wonderful bar menu, with things like Kobe Beef hotdogs and such.They also have a great tapas menu at the bar, small portions of some great foods. Tonight I had a house specialty, Truffle fries...shoestring fries with truffle oil and grated parmesan. Then I had their fabulous beef barley soup, followed by two little angus beef "sliders" and....beer battered slab bacon. it was appaling and wondeful all at the same time.

I made Mahi Mahi steaks in pineapple mango sauce with asparagus in a reduction made of modeno balsamic, grade a maple syrup, Hennessy Black, and rum. Something one will never find at a restaurant.

in my eternal quest to get my wife to like chicken, and in celebration of warm weather, I've been marinading chicken in dark mexican beer for several hours.

wish me luck! She always says it's tasteless and dry, and I think it's because she's basically psychotic.

might as well slip her an antibiotic tablet instead once in a while ..
let her listen to her body and taste.
i wish you luck in a lot of different aspects of you life tho
i love chicken and turkey but i try to not eat it too much.
sigh, substitue chicken and turkey with any other good tasting foods or drinks
