Ok so, it's actually for tomorrow, but I'm advance prepping Conchinita Pibil and assorted tamales.

It's been over a month since I've been able to prepare my own food. I'm sure it seems silly, but I'm in total bliss right now. Got my crew coming tomorrow and I'm so excited to cook for them.

Thai food! Delivered to the house after a beastly day at work and a nice hot bath. I'm having a dirty martini for appetizer

Tonight I had a hot dog, baked beans, and potato chips. Served on a paper plate and eaten outside on my back patio because it tastes better that way

Awake late and snack-ish...

I'm having goose liver pâté with black truffles on rosemary and olive oil Triscuits. My international foods deli sold me 2 pounds for $20 bucks...

Little slices of creamy heaven.

Ham, mashed potatoes with added goodies (not sure which yet), asparagus, maybe peas.

Then late night ham sandwiches with swiss cheese

Some sort of sandwhich, of course. Which I will slice diagonolly.

Chicken, I think, with pickles and mayo.

3am + can of progresso chicken noodle soup + couscous + sriracha.

It shouldn't have tasted as good as it did, by a longshot.

My wife's coming home and we all have decided we missed her, so we're trying to line up italian food to show up at the same time she does.

If all goes well, spinich calzones, salad, and a side of meatballs (for me, i'm crazy for meatballs).

It's weird to be watching flight status/calculating delivery times, at once.

Even if i do say myself, i cooked the most amazing risotto tonight

My mum is staying and she's vegetarian. So we decided to have a risotto while we were out food shopping. We both love broad beans so got some of those and i made the risotto with peas and mushrroms. It was lovely!

Splash of pinot grigio, some fresh parsley and a good hunk of parmesan grated in it....

Ate it with some baby leaves including pea shoots and some fresh mint from the garden.

yummy
