I made some awesome alfredo sauce with cream cheese once because I was too lazy to go out and get regular cream. Basically like this but with more parmesan and some romano.

A few things I have had in that condition:

- Cold KFC chicken dipped in Campbell's Bean with Bacon soup (soup still condensed). Result: delicious.

- Toasted peanut butter and sardine sandwich. Result: surprisingly edible.

- Toasted peanut butter and leftover spaghetti (with meat sauce mixed in) sandwich. Result: unsurprisingly not as edible.

- Mac & Cheese and minestrone soup. Result: had to chuck it out.

- Perogies, baked in the oven until slightly golden, then covered in spaghetti sauce. Result: ridiculously good. I want some now.

Edit: A couple of sandwich maker experiments:

Beans & wieners sandwich: Totally amazing. Think about it... toast goes great with beans and wieners anyway - just imagine beans and wieners sealed in little triangular pockets of toast! Mmmmmm!

Mac & Cheese sandwich: Absolutely horrid.

Leftover spaghetti sandwich: Not bad. but would only eat when high.

1) I've eaten peanut butter and bologna before. Not a big fan of sardines, but I think maybe similar mix of peanut butter and salty/meaty flavor.

2) I can usually talk myself out of such concoctions But I've sometimes not been successful.

3) Mac & Cheese is a surprising betrayer. It seems like it would be a good mixer. I made like a pork chop and macaroni casserole thing one time. Had to chuck it as well. The cheese in mac and cheese tends to grab the worst flavors out of whatever you mix it with.

4) Sounds really good. It gets dangerous when I start making spaghetti sauce. It usually ends up being all day and I end up with like 20 recipes worth of sauce. I also tend to have more than 30 ingredients. Sometimes I go an ingredient or two overboard, but usually it's delicious. I always start by frying bacon in the dutch oven I'm going to be making it all in.

I've always been a fan of your name, btw, Chronic

.. I microwaved sardines once.

I was desperate.

Anyway, my happy accident.. hmm.. sugar in curry. I wanted to add only just a bit to enhance the taste, but when I added more, I found out that it tasted like Japanese style curry, so I thickened it with flour.. and it was great! ^^

My happy food accident involves spilling some paprika and garlic powder on my mashed potatoes as I was reaching for the pepper.

Add a chunk of salted butter, aforementioned pepper.. <drool> You wouldn't think something so delicately flavoured would taste good with strong spices, but it's something I could eat all day, every day.

Can't comment on weed, never seen it before.

The Bob Ross Wii game turning out to be a lie/hoax/mistake was a huge disappointment.

That sounds suprisingly good. My daughter LOVES fettucine alfredo, but I rarely make it since it's a heart attack on a plate.

I might try this using the light cream cheese (neufchatel?) and see how she likes it. I'd imagine with plenty of Romano and Parmesen sprinkled on it, it would be pretty tasty.

I remember when I was 10 or so, my big sis started helping my mother cook. She took home ec. and brought home recipes that always tasted like shit. Anyhoo..We revolted, my little sister and I, and declared we'd make breakfast one weekend. So we made bacon and crumbled it up with some cheese and uncooked biscuit dough. The result was total deliciousness! It was a lumpy, cheesy-bacony biscuit and wish i had one now!
