Incomprehensible gibberish
Awesome! I want to go start my own soda bottling business now. It would be so much fun to make small batches of really premium sodas. I know, I know, most of you know about my previous soda bottling experiment wherein I inadvertently invented root beer flavored hand grenades. But I screwed that up. If I could get it right, it would be mostly safe...probably. Before stuff started blowing up, however, it was a lot of fun and the root beer was really delicious. I'd love to experiment with flavors and come up with my own concoctions.

| I think my all-time favorite soda type is root beer - I went to his site and he has 42 to choose from! ![]() I also love creme soda, and he lists 44! I believe I will be trying some out soon

I liked his idea of a root beer/cola. I need to start saving pop bottles. I drink way too much soda pop as it is, so this likely won't improve things. As an aside - he showed Jones Soda in one of the clips. that's a local company around here. Last year around Thanksgiving, they put out a turkey and gravy flavored soda. I didn't have the guts to try it. But their normal flavors are really, really good. They have no problem putting out wacky combo types of flavors. Edit: here it is: http://www.jonessoda.com/files/tofurky_2009.php Limited edition Dungeons and Dragons Soda pop. Now, with Chthulu on the label!http://www.myjones.com/code/limited....mpaign=wizards

I'm going for the savory soda market. Umami is the hot trend now. It could be like wine. Rosemary Teriaki soda goes well with red meats. Ginger Chili soda with Asian cuisine and Shitaki Tarragon soda with chicken. On the other hand, I might just make rootbeer.

Incomprehensible gibberish
I was actually thinking of bottling sodas that don't taste like sweat. I'm afraid to google Calpis. I know what it looks like. I can't imagine anyone making a soda that tastes like that. I hope I'm wrong and it's milk flavored. In all seriousness, I stopped by the Health Crafts store and got what I need to make my own cola. I'm scrounging up 2-liter bottles and I'll be good to go. I tried to point out the irony of calling your store "Health Crafts" when your primary products seem to be related to making your own alcohol, sugar laden drinks and hydroponics for indoor pot farms. It was lost on him. Apparently the grow lamps and hydroponics are so you can grow tomatoes and lettuce in your basement year-round, and home brewed wine and beer is good for you if you drink it by the gallon. Pure cane sugar in your pop instead of HFCS cures cancer. I had no idea. I want this guy to be my new physician. I wonder if he takes Blue Cross...

Calpis actualy isnt bad, and yes its a milk based soda. Closest I think in north america would be a yogurt drink with bubbles. there are variants with fruit flavours added as well. its just one of those unfortunate translations. .. oh and originaly it was made with Horse Milk.... The sweat drink is actualy a energy restorer for after workouts (ie after sweating) and again is just an unfortunate choice of english words.

I was a little suprised that he mentions cucumber pop and that its popular, Pepsi tried cucumber flavour in its special seasonal flavour in Japan and it was a bit of a flop.

The cucumber one interests me, because cucumbers on their own don't really have much of a flavor, but they sort of have a cool, refreshing effect. I wish I could get one here and try it. Is it sweet like regular pop? Is it really cucumbery? Does it actually have cucumber in it? Why am I so interested in it?
