So I went shopping for the camping trip next week and they had Top Choice Sirloins on sale. mmmmm

I chopped up some fresh garlic and a couple onion slices, tossed in some bacon, of course, and sauteed them in olive oil. Put 85% of it in a Gallon baggy with some water, olive oil, Italian seasoning and a pinch of chili powder and set the steaks in to marinate. That's gonna be good tomorrow cooked on the campfire!



I couldn't resist so I slabbed off 1/2 of one and did 'er up.











Oh man all I need is a glass of Pinot Noir and a good book. Well I guess this forum will do.










I was gonna post a play by play as I ate it but the damn thing was so good I couldn't bother stopping to process the pictures. Nothing left but a dirty dish now! lol

Surreal

My dinner wasn't nearly as special, but it was tasty... tuna salad made with scallions, celery, dried cranberries and plenty of garlic, served on challah rolls.
