Elvis lives ....
... artillery - the retro and rockabilly fashion store.

In the style of the 50th or early 60th.
Time of renal tables and bag floor lamps.

The colors harmonious, the ambience Retro - you believe to be able to smell the plastic and hear the musicbox.
Even if I miss something here more detailed designs, as in many American stores, you still get the petticoat feeling. Even scarce resources can provide flair.

The offer is just for retro-lovers or Elvis fans - for women and men.

Let's Rock!

What is a renal table? Would they be kidney shaped?

Those stores are gorgeous! The nice thing about clothing and similar stores is you can afford to use the prims on an outstanding store. Mine all get eaten up by the merchandise. My "store building" is just some walls here and there -- blah -- but if I had a nice one I would end up cannibalizing it for prims.

June Dion with her Shop Bare Rose.
An example for huge size despite a touch of Nippon flair.

Bare Rose is one of the great shops in SL.
A lot of freelancers create stuff for June Dion.
The constant innovations will be presented directly at the landing point and replaced quickly by other innovations. Then they come to a huge wall that you can only look on in flight, you will probably need hours to inspect everything.
I guess more than 1000 items.

If this is too much you can browse on their own Bare Rose Website:
Bare@Rose Search Database

Bare Rose is hardly represented in the Marketplace, actually only with 14 items.
That speaks for inworld shopping.

It's always crowded there, the traffic is about 30.000, genuine, no bots.
The offer is huge, from casual to fantasy for women and men.

Nevertheless, since years June offers a very good quality at reasonable price in their Nippon atmosphere.

Bare Rose does carry a lot of creative items. I hate shopping there, though, because it looks so chaotic to me. That huge wall of items is a pain to browse through. I'd go there more often if the layout was more eye-friendly to me.

After the dark, a bright shop again:

Milk Motion

Completely decorated in a trendy white, very reduced in the design.
Extensive and generous.
Very economical presentation of merchandise, almost like a expensive boutique in RL
But everything really cleverly staged.
All offered items are of high quality.

Milk Motion is on the no less remarkable Sim Cheesecake

anyways, you're right, the place looks way cool.

sadly, they hardly answer IMs and do not offer a test ride on the bike they are selling, and if I can't try out a vehicle I'm about to buy I don't give a flying eff on how nice the shop is laid out...
They're wonderful -- I have several different models and the scooter is practically the official vehicle of Fab Pads, with at least 3 or 4 of them scattered around the sim.

In between, a very small shop:
The Dressing Room BLUE

A small unassuming shop, built very environmentally friendly.

Inside, in only 2 rooms but nicely decorated, about 20 predominantly Japanese designers offers one of their creations plus LM.
All very high-quality items here can be bought for really very little money.
Unfortunately, not for boys.

I once tested some LM's, to see high-quality shops, large and small.
A small one I will shortly recommend: RunoRuno, about 1 / 3 of the items there for free.
So let's hurry up :-)

Sorry to bloat in, but I'm afraid that the term "shop" doesn't quite match the intention of the Dressing Room, as it's not a shop per se, but a bi-weekly special sale featuring numerous other brands. Due to the ever-changing content, the review elements "predominantly Japanese " and "not for boys" don't always apply, depending on the featured designers.

Quoting from the blog,

Thank's Lil for the correction of my thread, I'm sorry for that misinformation :-(

Today we go on board to go in the air:
The aircraft carrier of Wilder West.

On the flight deck are many aircraft standing around, even for test flights.
Below the fight deck, in a hangar helicopters are presented.

The offered machines look quite natural.
There's a wide range from jets to the classic airplanes.
Downside at the water, next to the aircraft carrier is a dock where boats and seaplanes await customers.

Since I had already sunk Laurinas seaplane, I have refrained from test flights and landings especially on aircraft carriers.

I think it's an originally way to offer aircrafts. The ambience of the aircraft carrier is completely consistent.
By the way, you can even buy the aircraft carrier: Just for flabby $ 35,000 L$.

Boy, all these shops are putting my store to shame. All I have is a human cannon you can fire yourself out of, a pimp daddypillar, and a beach ball you can balance on.

Must decorate more.

Virtual Decay

Some will know the famous shop Cloud 9, it was now relaunched as Virtual Decay.
Here you will find prefabs and textures for Urban Design. Top quality absolute.

You will land on a bridge, right the way is blocked by a police car. Behind there begins a new Role Play Area.

On the left it goes to the main shop, which is housed in an old bunker.

The various areas of the bunker includes the supply of Virtual Decay.
Through a door to get outside, where a Rezz Area is placed.
Here you can rez a lot of the offered prefabs as test.
By TP can also be reached a shooting range where you can let off steam.

Expect everything as perfect and effective rich staged.

Here you can get your feet wet:
Fall into Decay

An unusual shop that I will not hide from you.

A wild colorful garden, a bright light-filled building.
Very reduced decorated.

You splashed through the shallow water and inspect the few selected items.

The nicely arranged furnishing support to the ambience. Even small things like the overturned trash can with the floating ballerinas complete the picture.
The furniture has different seat animations, both for boys and girls, so feel free to try out.

Very brave and headstrong the whole thing - but it has something :-)

Certainly, the proposed "Fummels" (German slang for piece of clothing) are not everybodys taste, but that is precisely what makes SL so interresting, which some find the courage to design their store and items outside the mainstream, but very effective.

TonkTastic
Urban Combat Gear and Accessories

The shop for "real men", the battle-hardened Role Player will find
everything he needs.
Super-made outfits and accessories. Very detailed and high quality.
It takes a lot of time to sift through the offer.

The ambience in the style of an old industrial facility is appropriate.
All martial law, but absolutely worth seeing - even for women :-)

My male alts love that shop. I have to keep my Visa card tucked away every time they go there and send me puppydog eyes.
Oh, and they are selling their prim parts with resizer AND modify. Got to love them just for that. Nice low lag scripts too, you can leave them in and still feel light.

Let's go to
Armidi

An entire neighborhood is modeled, shops and boutiques offer different items.
Hair, skins, shoes, accessories and of course clothes.
Naturally for women and men.

In the style of famous European shopping cities, for me a mixture of Milano and Paris.
All very high quality design - simply exclusive and generous.

A stroll through the streets and shops is always worth it.

Shadow Moon

Here it is colorful, flashy, loud announcement inspired by Tim Burton, Batman comic books and Halloween.
And that's true :-)

After landing, you have to overcome a huge staircase which is at the end even closer.
Then you stand in the actual shop.

Here, too colorful and flashy design, but all a bit obliquely skillfully.

Further stairs lead to shaky roofs to the upper floor.
Items offered are quite high for Neko, Emo, Punk and Cyborg.
Clothes and accessories.

Just the right shop for people who are not afraid to their eyes :-)
