SL Join Date: May 2009 | AO for a very picky customer From an in-world conversation: Quote:
I already bought stands, walks, sits and ground sits from Oracul. I don't like their run/crouch/fly/jump/swim/... animations however. So I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations for those? If you need an idea about my shape since that might make a difference. I'm normal sized - small compared to most SL people I guess. With Oracul I fall right inbetween the teen and adult sized Anims. And here's a pic of what my female human looks like. She's the one who will be wearing the AO: ![]() (if I ever get a female drow or elf I'll probably want to reuse the AO though)

Business: Brazen Women Shapes and Skins | I'll throw out two recommendations: Reel Expression has a Confident Woman AO that is feminine without being coy and simpering. It's been awhile since my alt bought a copy, but I believe it's in the L$800-900 range. Cova Animations has several female AOs that are very inexpensive, in the $L300-400 range, which is perfect for the more modest budget. |

Really?
| I took a Zhao and bought the animations that I liked from some really pricey furniture store, can't recall the name of it. In the past I have used an AO from Abranimations. I never got around to getting a huddles but do those hold AO animations? I think you just need a good hud to build your own AO. |

Besides, I use the open collar AO which automatically switches off when the collar activates an animation | |

| Shockable ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() SLU Supporter ![]() ![]() ![]() | Not too animated, high quality and feminine, I would go for Torridwear. Persona's modelling stands are great in an AO, they are static but move so smoothly into position that you can't tell (well, as long as your stand time is not a minute and a half). Imperial Elegance/ImpEle used to have a freebie AO that was quite good. Vista is not known for its subtlety in animations but some of their walks are nice, if you have the patience to cycle through. SEmotion has good lands. jumps, and ground sits that aren't too cutesy - but at around L$200 per anim, and no copy, humph, I learnt my lesson when I lost all my anims from there when an AO of mine went poof. Also: Long Awkward Pose Golden Delish Maitreya (some of these can make one look bitchy, but ha I like them) Leafy (some wilder ones there) Snooky's C'est La Vie Striking Poses Some of those don't sell complete AOs, though, just poses. I'd recommend buying an AO from Torridwear as a base and then modifying/building on that with other poses, walks, jumps etc. as you find them.

Business: Illusions: Masks and Unique Accessories | I'm not sure if Animazoo might be too animated, but the personality is right I think. I use both male and female stands from there, and I also like their "fillers" (turn right, turn left, pre-jump etc). You can get an AO with an animation for every single thing you can for about 800L, which is an excellent price for mocaps. As far as stands to customize it with, I'd also suggest you look at ANA_Mations, even if you don't buy anything there. She does it all by hand so there might be some automaton feel to some of her older ones, but she's gotten better and her stands have a lot of character.

| Try a shop called Body Language ... the group is called "sweet, lovely, cute." they have a small satellite shop in Trilogy.

SL Join Date: June 2nd, 2007 | I have demoed and demoed Body Language. Every time I find stands that make me go "oh, how nice" ... until it keeps going, and going, and going. If I could just trim them down to about one fifth of the movement, they'd be lovely. But I would definitely call most of them hyperactive.

My Mood: SLShopper Ads: 5 SL Join Date: 11-11-07 | my AO was from SEmotion (it was the model AO). I've modified especially the the standing animation. I love standing animation from LOTTA...it just 100L or less (some just 50L or 60L). The store also has AO for jump, hover, fly & sitting. If you go there, you might need to browse the whole collection on the new posestand because the creator mix it up with normal pose and she doesn't put any picture to represent each of the posestand. If you want to look for cute animation, just go to Japanese sim (I can't remember the sim name). One of my friends has this cute standing animation where she keep readjusting her glasses. |
