Nice blog Aisuru.

Actualy it kind of amuses me... I often will walk up to someone looking very asian and with an Japanese name and I'll greet them in Japanese only to get a "oh sorry I dont speak Japanese...I'm from Brixton...."

Then I'll pop over to Japan Resort and all the kids there yattering away in rapid fire Kana are 6'6" blonde nordic ski bunnies with anglo names!!

Then Im off to a Giesha show and when I look at the profiles of the 6 girls dancing up on the stage they are all Euro!!

What the! ... Isn't anyone happy with the way they look in RL!!

...errr....Ok...I dont have a Japanese name either and started SL as a 7' Red Head... but thats different ! I swear!!!

I went to a "Feudal Japan" role playing sim called Nippon or something, and immediately people greeted me with various forms of "ohayo" and so I asked 日本語を話しますか? and got a bunch of translator responses.

My partner has several skins from DrL and we popped in there tonight to see whats new.

Just to le you knwo the shophas been shut down so she ca put in the new skins which will be avaliable in a couple of weeks. they are stunning by the way

While south-east asians can be very dark many northern asians (noteable Korean / Northern Chinese / Japanese) can have very light skin tones and can be just as pale / pink as a european from a Nordic country.

I've noticed that. There's a Chinese girl that works with me and she's paler than I am.
