Posing HUD

First question

A while back on Fashion Planet I thought I saw someone blog about a posing HUD that worked without a pose stand. It was a way to use poses without having to scroll through your inventory, just use the HUD and find the pose you wanted, take pictures, and you're done

It's not the VR Hud because that's tied to the pose stand.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

You know what I was trying to use my huddles for this and thought there was a problem with it but, um, I wasn't pushing the right button.

Now I have it working the way I wanted to!

Just for completeness's sake, Tillie Ariantho's HUD-based pose stand system also includes a standalone HUD for use without the stand. It includes the ability to sort poses by sets using wildcards, and to create shortcuts to specific poses.

I use my Huddles for exactly this purpose. I have several notecards with groups of poses loaded and I can just click from one to the other. I can imagine doing without a lot of things in SL but not my Huddles. It's maybe the single most useful thing I've gotten here (besides outfits)

A word of caution: if your poses are no-copy, I wouldn't put them in your Huddles. The more no-copy anis you keep in there, the higher chance you have of it poofing on you.

Most modelling poses are copyable now, but I still wanted to throw that out there.

Business: VR Foundry

It sounds like you're talking about the VR HUD 2.1

It hasn't been released yet, but the new big feature for it will be a wearable pose library, allowing you to load up a wearable prim with poses just like the posestand, and link it to your HUD. If you're already a VR HUD owner you'll get the upgrade free pretty soon

Also part of 2.1 will be infinite inventory (the current version has a heart attack after you put about 500 poses in it).

I was wondering what the standalone HUD was for exactly. I'll have to figure out the sorting feature
