Anyone heard of this?

Supposedly you drag and drop stuff into a box they provide and you can sell items from your own blog.

After all the bank scandals etc I think people would be nervous. Plus we already have SL Exchange and OnRez.

Thoughts?

Would be pretty cool if it actually worked. But then again anytime I talk about an item I made on my blog, I always link it to Onrez and slexchange anyways.

Haven't heard of it, but I know Apez.Biz can has similar functionality with it's API. Though you have to code it into your site. For ease I'd just do what Sarah does, link to OnRez or whatever.

AvBaul was developed to enhance the shopping experience in Second Life, for both content creators and shoppers. The hassle of current web-shopping networks can be eliminated by using AvBaul to sell your products, or sell anything, on your website or blog.

There is no reason to be worried about Linden Dollar theft, as the only way money goes through the system is when a user pays their card. They only do this after pressing 'Buy now' on the product they want to buy on a website or blog. Their in-world AvBaul Card then tells them the name and price of the product they have pressed 'Buy now' for, they either pay the card and the product is delivered to them, or they don't pay and nothing happens.

The system works by placing the products or items you wish to sell on your website or blog into a sellers box, which comes with the package you purchase. The items need to be in this box as this is the box where you retreive the codes to place them on your website, to set them up on your website with prices, and this is where your items are sent from to the people that purchase your items.
