Vintage Fair 2018

Has everyone been yet?

I did not know that my life was not complete without Culprit's KISS pandas, holy crap they are awesome! Spent ages watching them drive around my house.

I didn't buy any clothes due to my already overflowing wardrobe but there is some really cute stuff there. I did buy furniture, there were a couple of designers I hadn't come across before. I think that was the best thing about the fair for me, the exposure given to people who aren't featured at all the usual events.

I went. I got some cute things but I had a feeling of disappointment at some things that I wonder how they would be considered vintage.

Oh yes for sure, I had a bit of a giggle at some of the provocative outfits that were being passed off as "vintage"! Then I came across a store that had the most amazing burlesque costumes, which showed me that it was definitely possible to appeal to those customers who must be almost naked at all times, whilst still keeping to the theme.

I forgot to mention this in my original post, this is the second best thing I got at the fair. It wasn't a new release, or a special vintage offering, but I hadn't seen it before and it will bring me much joy. It reminds me of my cat, who hates me.
