Have you accepted Philip Linden as your personal lord and savior? Have you found yourself Left Behind from the Zindra Rapture, and at a loss for how to proceed? Come join us at the First Church of Rosedale for fellowship, discussion, and prayer!

We are now located in the Promised Land of Zindra, which means that you'll need to either have payment information on file or otherwise be verified as an adult in order to attend. (Either will work, though.) We're right across the river from Escort Island... do all your sinning and penance in one convenient location! Indulgences will be available for a modest fee.

The First Church of Rosedale (Immersionist) is devoted to the worship of Philip Linden, known in First Life as Philip Rosedale, founder of Linden Lab. It is believed to be the first church devoted to a Second-Life-centric religion. Those of all colors, sizes, furs, and historical eras are welcome.

(We are emphatically not associated with or endorsed by Linden Lab or any of its employees.)

I do have to say I have a theological quibble with you though, as I am not an Immersionist but an Augmentationist. Clearly we should excommunicate each other and have big bonfires to burn each other followed by BBQ.

I am a Philip fan boi. I love someone who is eccentric and driven who is actively shaping our world. I think someone who can sit in 1970s lapels and talk about virtual courts spontaneously rising up and real life cities becoming empty is sufficiently "out there" to be interesting.

And in-world I used to commune with St. Torley before he ascended on high.

We don't actually have a catechism, though... this entry might shed some slight light on our lack of any doctrine beyond "Philip Linden is God."

(That was written just after the announcement that He was transitioning from CEO to Chairman. We ended up concluding that this made no theological difference. He's still the Alpha and the Omega, the Prime Mover, the Final Word, and the possessor of the Grid's most manifestly Divine hair.)
