Want to make mesh with primitives? Try out Asset Forge.

Found this on Itchio and thought it might be helpful to people who want to create mesh, but are intimidated by 3D modeling programs.

Asset Forge comes with prim sets, as well as a bunch of other shapes so you can build the kind of models you want. You can export in .obj and .fbx. Obj can be ported into a program like Blender if you want to convert it to a .dae file.

There's a regular and deluxe program that goes for $20 and $40, respectively. I hope this helps you out!

Wow - now that could be very interesting.

ETA: Looking more closely at their main website though....the info provided is a pretty vague. I would like to be able to see some video of the thing in action, showing a lot more detail about how it works - what it looks like - how the upload into the user platform works. Or at least a free demo before I trump up 20 bucks. I know it's not a lot of money if the software works - but I'm not keen to pay up front for something I can't test first.

ETA again: Found more info - you have to actually click on the purchase option for either the basic or the deluxe version - then it takes you through to pages where it shows a lot more info. As you were. Could be very interesting.

I've been using Mesh Generator (mp link for the curious) for the last 3 years or so. MG is cheaper, but this looks like it might offer more options and be more versatile (as well as supporting more formats).

I'm intrigued -I'll probably save my pennies and pick it up!

So, I shared the original link on G+ and a friend of mine suggested looking at the following sites before plopping down cash;
tinkercad.com - Tinkercad | Create 3D digital designs with online CAD

https://www.vectary.com/

https://clara.io/

Since I just found them, I'm not sure how close they compare or not -but they seem promising enough.

You mentioned that Mesh Generator a few weeks ago in another thread. I bought it last week, and I must say I'm over the moon with it. Thanks for that recommendation.
SL is fun for me again at the moment.
