Anyone else doing this? I got bitten by a plotbunny a few days before the start, so I joined up even though I didn't really have any intentions to do so.

So if I'm not in SLU much this month, that will be why

For those who don't know what Nano is, it's National Novel Writing Month. The challenge is to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. I've written a novel before but never seriously attempted to write one so quickly. And yes it will be utter crap, I promise.

Every year, for the past three or four years, I've said I was going to do this. Every year, I don't, for one reason or another. Main reason is lack of time. This year is no different. Maybe next year. (Of course, that's what I said last year, and the year before, and the year before that. lol)

I've attempted to do Nano twice before, never got past day 8 before having to give up due to other pressures. The two months run-up to Christmas is usually busy for me. And one year I had to quit after 3 days because of health issues.

I have fewer commitments this year, and I also have a week off work scheduled for later this month, so I'm fairly confident this time.
