Book cataloging

(we need a book subforum (or am I just blind?))

Anyone using this software to catalog their own books or materials?

I use collectorz.com. They have a horrendous web page but a pretty good product. The only complaint I have is that I purchased the standard edition, at the time it was able to export only 50 items but I had worked around that. A recent update changed it so that you had to have the pro edition to be able to export.

The upgrade from standard to pro is only about $20 I think but I just haven't had the cash to do it yet. It is a nice product tho, allows you to enter or scan barcodes in bulk and it updates all the info from their servers.

Thank you, I'll look into them.
Most of mine are pre-ISBNs/Barcodes.
I was looking at some like collectorz.com but I want to be able to add a lot more information to each and the bookcat product seems to have the ability to do so.

I use ReaderWare cause it will do books, music and video. Pretty much anything with a barcode. Btt you can also put books in it that does not have a barcode, it would just have to be done manually. Otherwise, you just scan everything in and it will connect to Amazon and pull the info down into the database.

It's pretty easy to use and fairly inexpensive.
