The Tarot Deck

I've been working the past few months on a tarot deck. I've gone back and forth, debating whether I should try to get it published somehow.

I've got 20 out of 22 Major Arcana and some of the pip cards done; with any luck, I'll be done by November.

All the artwork is sized to print full-scale (300 dpi, 10 x 7.7 inches), so I'll offer prints, too.

Here they are so far, 0 - 19:

The McIntyre Tarot - Major Arcana

You simply MUST get them published Coyo. They are beautiful. As individual art works they are truly beautiful but together as a set they are stunning. I would want them for the beautiful and intricate artwork ...Carth when he see's them will want them for their esoteric value so you are sure of at least one customer

Very nice work xx

Some of them look like they might have been SL figures - but some others' finger positions were too natural to be SL - hard to tell! Is that what you used?

I actually used a program called Poser - it's quite useful for SL, actually, since I can export BVH files from it, and use it for previewing clothing textures.

That is one of the nicer decks I've seen.

Just watermark them or something.. I think you'll have a lot of people copying the art for other projects.

I love what you have done Coyo and yes, without doubt I think you should publish!

I'm curious - is the "Despair" card the same as the "Tower" in the Waite deck? Also, What does Archon symbolize? I know it means ruler but I was curious what the card means in the context of a reading.

Oh these are wonderful Coyo ,I really like how you personified all the Major Arcana I especially like Fortuna .. It's a name thing, but you've both of the main items associated with Tyche in there - The Rudder and the Cornucopia, a very nice touch. I hope you do publish them.

I went to the local print shop - to get 100 sets of the cards, it would cost me - get this:

$1,710.00

Needless to say, I won't be publishing there!

And you could retail them at $20-25 a set and still make a tidy profit. Is that the price for the Major Arcana only, or the full set of 78?

They are lovely though.

Very well done Coyo, they are beautiful.

PS: They have a sortof Gustav Klimt feel to them, which is extra cool.

Gorgeous work.

When you're done, you should make one of those Magic-the-Gathering style card games. I'd totally play.
