Anyone know where I can find a good script generator to make my own scripts for some things I need to do for my builds?

For simple stuff:

Script Me!

Search for existing freebie scripts, then tweak them for your needs.

Not a script generator but an IDE: I use the LSL plugin with Eclipse.

I looked at the Eclipse IDE plugin says I need to download Eclipse first but there's quite a few to choose from. Which one am I supposed to use?

Oh yes, the Script Me site is neat -- I stumbled across it quite a while back.

That script library looks very useful -- thanks for the link.

As for using Eclipse...um...at risk of getting slapped down by Aodhan, I'm not sure that's a good idea. I use a simple syntax-highlighting text-editor to write stuff offline, and quite often I just work directly in the LSL editor itself, at least for small scripts.

Maybe I'm just a masochist.

Someone ought to write an IDE specifically for LSL -- its peculiarities (like the fact that scripts are basically run as state machines) probably warrants it.
