One thing to remember about body oil is to give it some texturing to account for the irregularities of skin and body hair that you wouldn't normally have on a straight latex suit.

Wow, that's really affordable.

If you made skins with body oil options--preferably not too heavy--and more importantly has your cleavage enhancement baked in, I would be muy muy interested. That would free up so many clothing layers for me, I'd be giddy.

Light is standard Mid Day with no Face lights.

Only thing I noticed was the area just above the upper lip, it does not blend well from the pink lips to the flesh area .. almost looks like a scar.

Revision #31! New lips! I wasnt happy with the old ones. I'm not sure I'm completely happy with the new ones.. but.. well.. ta-da? they might be too blurry, but I cant figure out if thats just the mesh being a bitch

looking really nice Ayumi... one pet peeve I have with a lot of skins is to much shading under the breasts.... not everyone wants to have slider 70+ breasts and I find with a lot of skins when I put them on with my size 20-30 breasts I end up looking like im all bruised from the deep shading.

Hmm yes, not too much shadow. I love Curio's skins, but their boob and butt shades is so deep. On the other hand, it has to be a bit shade. Difficult this!

I can tell you, it will be hard to make me take off my LAQ skins. But you are starting to get really good here. That "wet" skin with a swimsuit... oooh!

Thanks so much for the support everyone!

Right now I have all these crazy notes everywhere about what I have to do next, and what my current plans are :/

Base Skin -
1 - Brow Options
2 - Makeup Options
3 - Freckles
4 - Running Mascara
5 - Water/Sweat
6 - Body Oil
7 - Cleavage
8 - Small/Large breast shading(if I cant find something that universally works)

The problem is that, if I did *every* possible combination for 6 makeup options, 3 brow options, and "on/off" for everything else, I'd come up with like 20,000 skins in a fatpack. Which.. well.. yeah.

So I need to narrow things down and find places I can cut corners. Like, hairbase brow color. That would reduce the combinations/possibilities thing by 3. The makeup options are going to have to be predetermined I think.. and I might make a poll about what your favorite eyeliner/eyeshadow/lipstick combinations are.

I also probably wont try and combine things like.. freckles+running mascara as well... but I will try and do Freckles + Body Oil, or Freckles + Water/Sweat.

So much work, and I havent even gotten started on the lower template

Linden Lifestyles did an informal survey on skins a while ago, which Tanya Book summed up pretty well (and plus, response totals)—while a lot of it's sort of subjective and potentially outdated, you can still draw some interesting conclusions from the responses—e.g. most popular cosmetic combination seems to be Subtle eyeliner/mascara, Subtle or no lip-liner, Glossy lips, and Subtle blush/rouge.

But of course, one person's "fair" is another person's "tan"—so take it with a grain of salt.

I will add on more confusion and ask if you should sell water/sweat as a add-on pack? Like Nyoko does with body oil. All layers included of course. (lol)

That way, I could wear:
- Tatto on underpants/undershirt layer
- Bikini on shirt/pants layer
- Water on jacket/stockings

I am not a tattoo person normally, but when I show skin I like to use tattoos as a part of the outfit.

This could be a bestseller like your cleavage.

I think it would be preferred to have cleavage baked into the skin, instead of water or body oil.

Because when I (I can only speak for myself) use body oil, I am not using so many clothes. I can afford to use up a layer on water or body oil.

Confused

Curio does the brow options reallywell by using the skin underneath to shade and tint the brows. I think this would be a good option for you and allow people totint and match better.

I think maybe just addign your clevage to the larger breast option would be a good way to go as well. the 'boob' job as i call it would basically only be wanted i think by the larger boobies right?

I think Marianne's idea for the body oil and water on seperate layers would be good. thoughmaybe if you wanted you could offer a 'customisation service' ie the ability to have the body oil and water added to your skin... maybe even the running mascara to any of the avaliable lips etc. This would allow youin the short term not to have to upload all options for all people and would also allow you to save significantly on prims.

Hell you could even add in some customisation with tattoos, id so pay for that.

Skin Update!



Freckles are now more natural and smaller. This is an (almost) final update on the skins.

Each skin line under a different name. (ie: Angela) will come with an assortment of makeup options, but will be a specific skin tone. (Pale, Light, Tan)

Unfortunately I havent been able to get to 'ethnic' skin tones. I've been having a lot of issues with it, its definitely not something I'm giving up with, but I'm possibly going to have to create completely new skins from scratch which would set be back a substantial amount if I was to delay the release.

Each individual makeup style will be available for sub-700L, and fatpacks for 1500L. Purchasing a sub-700L style will get you that specific makeup as well as the "bare" makeup with the following options in 2 brow colors (medium and dark). Body Oil, Water, Freckles, and Running Mascara.. for a total of 20 "skins" per makeup pack.

I'm going to try and release between 5-10 makeup styles per skin line, and each skin line will come with its own unique (modifiable) shape that fits the skin line.

It feels so good to be almost done. Seriously.
