Grrr someone convince me not to

OK. Lately i am getting the urge to dive into my sim and actually create a theme again. Here is a run down of the themes i have done:
  1. Japanese
  2. Greece/Mexican
  3. City - First one
  4. Gothic ( deleted never finished)
  5. City - again
  6. A cluster fuck
  7. Small city
  8. current cluster fuck - not really i have valleys and rivers and i live in a barn.

tell me to stop the madness going through my head. i personally like modern and the city life at night time. i guess i want to challenge myself and see what i can do with maya's lighting and baking and build a sim out of that. am i making sense? I haven't had enough coffee today.

should i do it?

Could you possibly back up the older build?

If so, go for it!

Sorry. I do badly with instructions.

On the other hand, I've never had problems programming a VCR.

That actually works better if you *don't* bother with the instructions.

Tya's builds are so awesome.

too bad SL wont just allow SIM owners to just do a "Save as" as long as all the prims are theirs.

Go for it! But am glad you are not changing the inside layout of your store. I adore all that black and those swathes of glorious curtains sweeping up everywhere are wonderful. I am always in there with Poppet (my alt).

I remember the theme you had before this one? or maybe before that ..... looked rather like a cross between Armidi and Naughty Designs Island (before armidi tho) ..... All seperate shops and very very well built. I remember looking around and thinking "Give up building now Humpy"

I love that kind of formal style ..... and you did it sooo well. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

fark i already started o.O starting with a wine and cafe bistro.. oh so elegant . black and mahogany with tan .. smexy. i need to build one area first and not go hog wild like i do.

humps: the sim will still be formal. at the moment nothing flows on the sim and it bugs me.i made hills and rivers because i didn't know what i want to do. as for my prefabs i think i will make a sign that says : this way to the burbs. lol

i need to expand my store and organize it a little better... its going to be 3 separate stores that join together. I just got back into making furniture and i want a separate area kind of like a mall but not a mall more of a plaza. though i am putting in a parking lot. I have cars damn it and i want to drive 'em

As for Schmooze. ugh i have had it for almost 4 years. not sure if it will come back down from the sky and i don't have the heart to delete it.

the last few days i have been deciding on the overall look.
do i want to do a metropolitan again? no, done that twice.

i have opted for a quaint mini city. i was happy to find my old bikes that people could ride on the sim from a few years back so i think it will go well. my parking lot, yeah lol, i was pulling out my cars earlier. the inside of my first build is a mess. tomorrow i have to gut it and finish it. my problem is i get to caught up in the details

oh i am tired.. night all

well i have been a busy bee!! I wanted to make a contemporary ice/soda place, I logged in tonight to finish the build so i can start detailing. well i had a brain fart and started to think about where my house is going to go and how its going to connect to the rest of the sim. the modern bridge i have is too modern... so putting that back into my inventory, i knew I wanted old and romantic, then i started to think about Bridges of Madison Country :sniff: great movie

The wheel works!! I went "woohoo" when i finished the wheel. The bridge is not done, but i am happy with how its turning out

i am enjoying this build immensely. the only thing i am not looking forward to moving my prefabs and putting them in a vendor... its taking up to many prims.

the other night i deleted Schmooze. it was kinda hard to do because of the memories the place held for so many years.i am going to re build it but on a smaller scale, lounge type, since i do not hold / host events anymore. the overall structure of schmooze's style and scheme didn't change much in 4 years. it was for the longest time my favorite build and i met some of the most wonderful people in SL there.
